I was wondering the same thing. I think In the email it said it was okay to put it in now though. So that you can have it already downloaded by the time the beta is playable :).

What, do you mean when I put my Key in? If so I just put it in and am downloading the 1.07 GB Beta now.

Wow, I had no idea about this! Thanks man, I got a key. All it took was a less than 2 minute registration @ IGN/FilePlanet and I was good to go.

lol I was just going to ask what happens when you try to play this now. What does it do leave you at a menu screen?

its nice we're getting a beta, considering the games been delayed until who knows when...we're looking at June/July, hopefully it wont be delayed again.

I hope the clipping issues seen in the game videos are gone...but i guess thats what this beta's for right?....MAN...Im excited!

I posted a topic on this yesterday...I am more interested in seeing what they are going to do about persistent stats. Bf2 pioneered it (PC version) and I hope they take it to a level beyond CoD4...I get to find out on the 25th! Woot! KingTuttle

i have no doubt in my mind this gameplay will make COD4 lick dirt...but ya, i'm a little concerned about the ranking/unlocking system. DICE hasn't mentioned a single thing about it...have they?

Tracer Dart Pistol
Used by the specialist, the tracer dart pistol attaches a transponder to enemies, which emits a high frequency signal that links up to the guidance system of friendly rockets.

• When the dart is in place, all demolitions will be advised, and are then able to lock on and launch a homing missile at the target.
• While not smart enough to navigate streets, the missile will home inexorably in on the unfortunate target.
• Though this requires a high degree of coordination, skilled squads will be able to link up and utilise this combination to deadly effect.

Lol, I was just about to make this thread because I saw it in system wars. Yeah, I registered and I lied a bit so I got the code and Im downloading now :)

I just had to lie about my age and if I played Battlefield.

I presume that'll happen later on. When the CoD4 Beta keys were gone from the official website, Gamespot was able to give out loads more not long after. Assuming there's about 100,000 participating (I have no idea of the official number), there's no way they ran out that quick @ IGN.
