Battlefield: Bad Company Collecting Dogtags

I was curious about the dogtag feature in BF:BC, and since no one here seemed to know what it would be I searched around. The people that I conversed with had been in the beta, in which the feature was running. From what they said, when you knife someone you get their dogtags. In the unlocks section, you have the dogtags you have collected and you can view them. The dogtag will tell the persons gamertag and how many times that you've knifed them. There is also a rumor that the "Dogtagger Dagger" from Battlefield 2142 will make it into Bad Company. In 2142, when a player had collected 50 unique dogtags, it would unlock the "Dogtagger Dagger".

Ahh.. makes sence, was wondering how the dog tags were obtained.RRODed

pretty sure "unique" just means from different people. so to get the achievement u need to knife 50 different people not one person 50 times.

I have 50 unique just got it yesterday but all i got was the achievement no new knife =[

Rediscovering this game on multiplayer and loving the hell out of it. Now that I know how, I can go after the other 49 dog tags.
