If you like scifi then you'll love Mass Effect, it's a great game. I've never played Bad Company so I can't really compare them for you but I can recommend Mass Effect.

This is an easy one: Mass Effect. The mods are really crazy about people using the recommendation sticky so I would suggest you go ask in there.

Hey man, haven't played Battlefield, but I justgot done with Mass Effect. It was a GREAT, GREAT game. Easily in my top 5 favorite games for the 360. If you have played RPG games like Knights of the Old Republic, then you'll like this one even more.

Mass Effect, hands down, one of the best 360 games out still considering its kinda old now.

Well it really depends on your taste. Mass Effect will give you a more tactical, sci-fi heavy shooter with plenty of strong rpg elements as that's what it really is. As well, you can expect a bigger story and more replay value from Mass Effect. Bad Company, though I have played only the demo, feels more like an action movie shooter. It seems to have pretty good and entertaining story with plenty of action, somewhat like Call of Duty 4. Bad company also gives you multiplayer, which Mass Effect doesn't have.

Apples and Oranges Bud. Both are fantastic games and both scored basically the same.

Both are the cream of the crop in their categories man.

Bad Company is my favorite FPS at the moment. And combines a really good squad /class based combat with plenty of destruction of building and degrading of the soil under your feet. I love it to death.

Mass Effect is one of the single best RPG's I've ever played. It's long, interesting, and has an epic story. With the different classes and plenty of abilities and different team combinations, it's a fantastic game.

Honestly, you'd be happy with either. Very happy. It just all depends, do you want to play a fast paced action game or a moderately paced RPG. What ever you decide, you'll get hours of play time from either.

Oh, nearly forgot, personally I enjoy Bad Company more. But that's just my choice.

I liked Bad Company more...Really great online. I guess Mass Effect would be better for single player - but it was kinda too slow for me. It's not like I only like to play online FPS or anything....Just my opinion.

This is easy bro. Bad Company is a pretty solid game but it is incredibly shallow. Mass Effect you will play through repeatedly over and over. Bad Company is like an open map version of call of duty. You can attack the bad guys from any angle you want. On each stage there are new weapons to pick up and try. You can use whatever vehicles are laying around. The environment is heavily destructable. Once its over though you wont really play it anymore. I dont know if or what its online modes are like.

Mass Effect is beautiful and has great combat(if you play on harder difficulty levels).

Bad Company is not great for singleplayer. But the multiplayer is awesome. So yeah definately try pick up both, Mass Effect for a fantastic single-player experience and Bad Company for a fantastic multiplayer experience. Both will last you a long time.

If you haven't played Bad Company online then you haven't played it at all. The multiplayer is very deep and offers hours upon hours of entertainment.

Get Bad Company, it's a great game with an addictive online experience.

I tried to enjoy Mass Effect. I even played through the campaign twice. But I just don't see the appeal.

Depends, if you want a solid FPS with ok multi or a really good sci fi RPG. I would recommend Mass Effect.

Mass Effect. I will not deny that Bad Company was pretty fun...but honestly it's more of a rental IMO. The multiplayer honestly disappointed me... thus making it worthy of renting to finish the main story, which was entertaining. However for ME, the story is unmatched and it's made by Bioware, which to my knowledge is incapable of making a bad game. Also, if you get ME you will be able to have a save file for ME2, which is expected to be released early 2010.

Battlefield has a nice little story surrounding it, I would really look forward to that one. Not really worth a full buy though.

Mass Effect is brilliant and it will get you ready for the even more (hopefully) brilliant Mass Effect 2 coming out in early 2010, so I'd say go with ME. It is far from bad and very close to perfection. You will notice it is a bit outdated though, but is still a great game.

Battlefeild bad company if you're looking for a very fun and exciting shooter. tonsss of multiplayer replay value too.

mass effect is more of a dialouge game.. theres more talking in that game then anything, which is cool and all, but it bore me to death sometimes.. the combat isnt to great itself but it can be fun to upgrade your armor and weapons. mass effect took me 6 hours to get into.. the first 6 hours were horrible, and they game took 33 hours to beat for me, including side quests.
