2008 dude theres alot of other great games befor then.
i hate when the dev's say there making a great game and say its only coming in a year or 2, waiting sucks, but at lest games like halo and unreal will be out to keep me entertained
Personally, I like to know that the developers are delaying and taking their time with the game. Making sure it's all polished and optimized to run smoothly. All you people who say that the game should come out now are the reasons why rushed games are crap and unpolished. There are so many games coming out this year to be busy with like UT3, Shadow Run, and of course Halo 3. Just be happy that you'll know that the game would be better when it releases 2008 than it would of if it were to release now.
....... I'd like to think of something clever to make light of this situation... but really... I'm just mad as hell. I WANT BATTLEFIELD AND I WANT IT NOW!Private_VegasI'm not mad as hell, but I think making announcements of "It's coming out this week, errrrrrrr, no wait we meant next year" is completely lame. The fact that it's become such a silly business that they need to generate hype for games that are being released 6-12 months down the road (or longer in the case of Halo 3) is what gets me.
Who cares what's out next year, besides the rumor of it? I want to know what's out 2 weeks from now.
if i wait for a year+ it better not be another modern combat.dsman418omg, no doubt. That game was total garbage. I wish they hadn't attached the name "Battlefield" to Bad Company. It's kind of a worn-out name now I think.
In the end of the gamespots interview says 2008. Hell, I want that game BAD!Torous
Hopefully that extra year will give them the chance to update the graphics engine from 1998 to 2007.
I was not impressed at all with the trailer.

no offence but, are you kidding me??? The models were the best models ever seen . Makes GeoW look like Barbie or smth...I'm not mad as hell, but I think making announcements of "It's coming out this week, errrrrrrr, no wait we meant next year" is completely lame. The fact that it's become such a silly business that they need to generate hype for games that are being released 6-12 months down the road (or longer in the case of Halo 3) is what gets me.[QUOTE="Private_Vegas"]....... i couldn't agree more...I hope they make the destruction look better... in the trailer it looks like you shot a box of packing peanuts, not blew out the side of a building.The_Fell_OneBwaaahahahaah!! What could be more fun than shooting a box chock-full of packing peanuts, though?
Why can't they just keep games unannounced until near release? I'd rather find out about a game when it's 4 months from release, not over a year away, plus more delays usually.TimothyBFour months is pushing it, but yeah, exactly.  This is what I would've said if I were a nicer guy. What's wrong with keeping that announcement under wraps until May if the game is out in June?Â
