1.Rainbow 6: Vegas 2. Crackdown 3. Halo 2 4. Splinter Cell Double Agent 5. Burnout Revenge. Everyone else will probably put Gears of War on there. It wasn't deep enough for me.
I'm also interested in hearing what you guys say the top 5 are. I've been searching for great games to play on live or multiplayer in general for when I have a bunch of friends over but I can't seem to find anything that stands out. I already have the obvious games, but I'm one that would try out something new just for fun so suggestions are very welcome! :DÂ
Crackdowns just co-op. It isnt really a multiplayer game. And I prefer to play next gen games on a next gen console so Im not putting down halo 2.
But all I play online is Vegas, Gears cand COD3, theres not really much else worth bothering with.

Wait, so with crackdown you can play with another person, that means there are two people playing, so yeah, basically that's multiplayer. You must mean "competitive" multiplayer games, and then you'd also be kinda wrong. You can make Crackdown as competitive as any game out there. Seriously, try telling my friend who died twice in a game of "Observatory Globe Soccer" that the game isn't competitive. Also, the OP said "Xbox live games" not "competitive multiplayer" games. Tom, sorry, but clearly you aren't 2cool4me. :)

It's all well and good to get peoples' opinions but you'll have to read up on the games yourself, to be sure. People can have completely different opinions. For instance, most people think GoW is superb online, but there are a few that despise it.
