I recently got this game again and I beat it as a Vanguard. Now I'm wanting to beat it on Insanity and I was curious if anyone could suggest a class to use?

I was considering just being a Vanguard again because I really like that class but I fear that if I do the game will become stale rather quickly.

Thanks in advance haha

I did it with the Soldier, and used Warp Ammo as my upgrade. It's still a pain in the butt, but seems to work better than the other classes.

Only real problems I had were New Horizons, the Collector Ship and the end boss. Of course it also depends on who you take with you, and you will need to micro manage them or they will get killed over and over. The friendly AI turns into something just this side of moronic on insanity. Good luck.

I play as an Adept. Singularity helps a lot in Insanity. Good for crowd control. And it stops big enemies like Harbinger controlled collectors in their tracks from walking all over you. Plus being able to use all of your biotics to destroy a lot of your enemies saves ammo. Ammo is almost never a concern.

I did it as a Soldier with Warp Ammo (you get Warp Ammo by getting the Loyalty Achievement with Jack) as warp ammo is good against all bars (health, shield, barrier, armor, etc... It does damage to all of them, so no need to constantly switch ammos...

All I can say after that is use cover and spam adrenaline burst... When activated it slows time and increased damage resistance plus you damage output... So use it for well placed headshots and when you are in a tight spot and need to get out quickly... And if you need to move from cover to cover to shift fire or something like that right in the middle of battle while being shot at... Use it then as well because you will die very fast on Insane...

try insanity with all classes. its really not hard. considering you can exploit the cover system. if youre low on health, just stay down thats it. if anything, have your team mates move forward so theyll take the hit as you recover.

Can you play on Insanity the first time though? I just picked up this game, and I was wondering about it.

Infiltrator is the best class for Insanity. Get all the Sniper Rifle upgrades ASAP, and focus all your skill points and special skills (the ones unlocked at lv. 4) at bonuses to your Sniper damage and/or Cloaking damage. Also, use the Mantis Sniper Rifle until you get the Widow -- after that, even Harbingers are practically brought down by a single shot to the face. Warp Ammo is great as the additional skill -- better than Disruptor, in any case.
