Best ending for a game.

So I played castlevania SOTN and beat the game with all four endings... And it got me thinking of Chrono Trigger... And its numerous entertaining ending (which I'm proud to say I achieve them all). So In your opinion what was the best ending you have ever seen for a game for 360. Personally I like the "24 hour" ending in Dead Rising. But maybe there is a ending for a game Which I haven't seen or played that tops that.

if u want to mention the past for another console or PC Thats kewl but this is a 360 forum! But a true gamer plays every unit.

Hmmm.... Half-Life 2 left with me my jaw dropped to the ground, and F.E.A.R left me wetting myself with joy, fear, and something else.

Oblivion was also great, I didn't see it coming, but I had an idea of it, but it was still great.

Zelda: Ocarina of Time just kicked ass.

Halo, I've never managed to see the Legendary one (heard about it), but the normal ending just blew me away.

Metroid Prime, wow.

That's about all the ones I can remember right now, and I've gotta say that some of the endings of games are better than Hollywood, books and probably everything else I've seen, ever. 

F.E.A.R. had a great ending. man i still can't believe that game it had a geat storyline and was frickin scary, for me at leastmarcus_chief

Oblivion, Halo 2, COD 2 and 3, Hitman BM (frickin awesome!!)gp19

Hitman was a great game... definitely underrated. Its ending was also really good... getting all the achievements was a pain though. Had to do every difficulty mode individually. Seriously, though... the game's only $35 or so used now and if anyone hasn't played it yet, it's a killer game... so to speak. Dead Rising also has some cool endings, particularly for George A Romero fans like myself.

Worst 360 ending? Probably Crackdown.

Best game ending ever? Dunno... maybe GTA3 (PS2, Xbox, PC); I actually lolled at it.
Worst game ending ever? Myst (PC). What a waste of time that game was.

The ending for Marvel UA is a neat concept, they weave together different endings to correspond with your actions throughout the game, The only problem is that they do not flow together well.

And DOA 4 has an ending for each character, so thats a plus. Some of them are bizarre, some are cool. 

i loved saints row's ending. it threw me for a loop.

Another good ending, Sonic Adventure 1, I love that game so much!

Oh, and Goldeneye, and Zelda: Majora's Mask.

BRING BACK THE JETS!

Halo was probably one of the best endings I've ever seen to a game. It was absolutely brilliant; it gave you a huge sense of accomplishment for destroying the secret weapon known as Halo, yet left room for a potential sequel. That was amazing.

Both Zelda: Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time had very satisfying endings that were vey emotional and had a great tie up to the game.

 
KOTOR had an incredible storyline with a superb ending, 'nuff said.

As for best ending on Xbox 360...not alot of titles come to mind, although Condemned had me going for a while with the "twist" and overall sense of horror, Oblivion was pretty stellar although it could of been a bit more "epic", and Gears of War (although short) had a pretty good ending (reminded me of the movie Independance Day).
