Well, I've just looked out the list of games you've played on your 360, and I'm not suprised you think MW2 is the best game of all time. Try playing stuff like Fallout 3, FarCry, Dead Space, Half-Life 2 and Bioshock, and then come back to us and try to justify why MW2 is better than those games.
When I consider what is the best game of all time, I look for something with a strong Singleplayer experience - as multiplayer experiences are inconsistent, good controls, and above all it's got to be a unique game. I'd say Bioshock was one of the best game of all time (of those that I've played). It was unique and made you question morality. Or maybe Fallout 3?
Modern Warfare 2 is mindless. The Singleplayer is fairly decent while it lasts, but it's got nothing special about it. It's too predictable.
[QUOTE="DJ_Magneto"]This is rediculous.dudebot12345678
HOW!?!?!?
The question itself is rediculous because no one will ever agree on it. Then you just spit out MW2. Which in itself, sounds like a typical fanboy quip. No reason behind it. You're as vague as the question itself. And you have to know that your answer would just drum up other fanboy flaming. Which is probably why you should have just asked this in System Wars or General Games Discussion.[QUOTE="dudebot12345678"]

Ha, you like shooters. We get it. There's more to console gaming than just First Person Shooters. Add Mass Effect 1 and 2 and Red Dead Redemption, Assassin's Creed 2, Batman Arkham Asylum, SC Conviction, Alan Wake, GTA IV, Madden, NHL, FIFA, NBA 2K or Live, Fight Night 4, Tiger Woods PGA, Forza Motorsport 3. Arcade games like Geometry Wars, Pacman CE, Shadow Complex. You're missing out man.[QUOTE="KlepticGrooves"][QUOTE="dudebot12345678"]

If you take a look at my gamecard you'll see I've played a fair few decent non-FPS games. This topic isn't about telling everyone what game genres we play, it's about sharing an opinion on what we consider is the best game of all time.
In anycase, the point I was making is that the OP hasn't played many games that most people would consider "great games" and so it's obvious he'd choose MW2 as the top game.

The first thing that came to my mind was Orange Box, but that's just me.Kojo222
Im downloading the orange box demo on xbox live marketplace

No. It's way too overhyped, I was extremely disappointed when I played it after hearing so many good things.
Well of all time....by far it is Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time; That is not an opinion, it is 100% fact (okay, it's still an opinion, I just really like that game). On the 360, well I guess I would have to say Batman AA. I beat that game 5 times and did all the riddles. Can't wait for the second!

Yea I agree with you. Hey I played a lot of fps and say that Half Life is a winner.
The Orange Box for Team Fortress 2 alone plus it was a great value. I haven't played a multiplayer game that was this much fun in my life. I just can't stop playing it even after over 1,000 hours. It could just be Team Fortress 2 and it would still be my favorite game.
Yea I think that mw2 single player campagin is silly. And how would Russain forces by enabling them to penetrate U.S airspace by the ACS module the Russains duplicated it. But however in reality the U.S. military's defense network is not controlled by one satellite module and hacking one does not give the enemy enough information to fool U.S. radar pockets.
And futhermore it is unlikely the Russians could have gone by allies of the U.S such as Grat Britain without their own defense networks not picking up such a large invading force. But one conclusion however the British Government's long-range radar site at Fylingdales is part of the American system. If Fylingdales was also compromised (which is suggested in that it is mentioned that PAVE PAWS is down, the Russian Atlantic Force could have flown over North Sea/IcelandGreenland and then hit the East Coast of the US.
So I don't know could mw2's story come to reality I don't know.
i'd have to say call of duty 2 (not modern warfare 2....the actual cod 2). i loved the single player and the multiplayer was simple yet addicting.

The MW2 devs made the levels first, an then invented the amazing ( ) story, they said it themselves

Many will argue (such as myself) that Zelda OoT is the best game of all time, I don't count recent games as the best game of all time because it hasn't had enough time for the gamers to make a complete verdict.

That could easily be one of the dumbest questions in the history of gaming, of course the Orange Box is good and the demo tells you nothing, the Orange Box is five games in one, all of those games are criticly acclaimed games and the game now is about $20, everyone should own the Orange Box you are buying a game with a value of about $100 for $20.

I never understood this either, and the whole thing where Task Force 101 tracks a bullet to one guy in Brazil, who brings a custom made bullet to war anyway?
Personal opinion is probably the base of the consumer portion of the Gaming Industry. I'm not even sure if I can choose just one. I love all my games.
Dark Cloud 2 is probably my favorite PS2 game. As for Xbox360, I can't really say. I'm really loving Fallout 3. And Bad Company 2 and MW2 have incredibly addictive multiplayer. Like I said, it's all about opinion. Sometiems I wonder about these Polls becuase everyone says they love "this game" or "that game" and other people will call them idiots and say their game is the best game ever. Can't we all just get along? We don't have to love everything, but sometimes the bickering is just sad.
