I loved Enslaved. It was one of those games with such great art direction and design that it really feels like you're in another world. Very convincing spaces that you play in. The story is solid as well. Some were blown away by the ending, I just thought it was so so, but it's a fun game. Very good to go through one time.

Yeah I played the demo and although it was short, I got a real feel for the characters and I could see that I'd like them in the full game.
The cutscenes looked great, like they were actually directed.
Goddamn, it's arriving in the post on Monday or so but I'm not sure I can wait that long, I'm pretty pumped for it.:oops:
I think that Mirror's is one of the best games that didn't get the attention it deserved. The prove of it is the quality of the game that is really high, and the fact that the companies do not really want to make a second part of the game, unfortenatly.
Enslaved is a good option too, like The Saboteur and Metro. I don't agree with Bayonetta because it has been considered GOTY in some sites.
Gears of War 3. It did get a lotta attention , but it deserved to soak itself in the spotlight considering the fact that it's the last Gears of War. Did'nt receive as much hype as Halo 3 did at its time of release though
I think the Condemned series is amazing, especially the first game. When it was originally releasedno one knew anything about it. Now I think everyone understands how much of an underrated game it truly was.
The Saboteur, Kane and Lynch And a game a long time ago i forgot the title of but it was something with psychic something, since the main guy had psyhic powers and it was on the org. xbox.
For the Xbox 360, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men and Rock Band 3 come to mind. I feel that Kane & Lynch is a fantastic game. It had bad press because of the GameSpot review incident, and that combined with the controls for shooting put some people off. But overlook what people say about the game, and get used to the shooting (it didn't take me long at all) and you have yourself a fantastic game. A very interesting story from start to finish and the action, missions/maps and characters all all very awesome and fun. When it was over I just wanted to play it again and again... fantastic game. Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is also good, but my favourite of the two is the original. A third has also been rumoured in the past too, can't wait for that if it's true :). Rock Band 3 is the ultimate music video game, in my opinion. It wasn't very popular and didn't get TOO much attention (it still got some from hardcore fans and music lovers, but in general it was pretty underrated and overlooked). The reason why it is perhaps the ultimate music game is because it has Pro Guitar and Keyboard, and if I remember correctly (I don't play drums much), realistic drums with cymbols and whatnot. The game also has a pretty sweet character customisation, fantastic presentation and a pretty cool setlist. An amazing game :)
I didn't think much of The Saboteur. It started great, then it went downhill fast. It focuses too much on stealth and the stealth mechanics in this game are appalling. The climbing is terrible, too. It also has quite a high level of frustration. Once you're spotted, you're getting shot at by everyone in a one mile radius.

Quoting this post cause it has three fo the four i was thinking of. Mirror's Edge I understand is kind of a niche game but it was really good. Metro is getting a sequel and should get more attention. I flat out loved Enslaved. I also think Dante's Inferno deserved more praise from the consumer side.
