You might say graphics are not everything but people have been asking me what games will show off their new HD equipment best. So what's YOUR verdict?

his not even saying hes going to buy the games just for the graphics.

some great looking games are assassins creed, cod4, gow, me

I'm not. But some of my friends already have the recommended games of the year (CoD4, Mass Effect, AC, Halo 3 etc) but they really want to show off their new equipment at the New Year and are wondering what games look the best visually.
