All of the SMGs are unbalanced unless they fixed the game since I played last (two weeks ago or so) Unless you like sniping or shotgunning at close range, there isn't much reason not to use one.
Ok firstly the firearms in R6V are by no means indicative of how said firearms are in real life. That is my BIGGEST complaint about the game. If you need an example of what I mean. There is NO WAY that a UMP45 has the range and accuaracy @ 100 yrds that a SCAR does. I think game developers NEED to start doing better research on what weapons they put into their games and their accuracy and knock down power. Now for the topic at hand. There is no BEST gun. Every gun available has its place and use. Example : a Spaz 12 will end you PDQ from like 5-20 yards but is useless from 30 yards +.Â

I think they did some of that in STALKER with bullet trajectory over long distances and stuff. But yea in most games the only difference between guns is rate of fire and amount of ammo in the clip. I'd love to see a game with 5 different 9mm's, but give me a reason to choose one over the others. In real life I love the Beretta 92fs because it has a manual safety, chamber loaded indicator, and is way easy to strip down to clean and stuff. I tried a friends Ruger and the way it fit my hand was real nice, very well balanced. It was a little heaver but that just made the recoil barley noticeable. Of course these kinds of differences would be almost impossible to translate into gameplay.

Let me give you some good news dude.. An update just came out that fixed all the guns.

I just got into the MTAR last night, that gun is wicked- shame about the clip size!! Oh and the n00b cannon (MP71A) is cool too! :D
i dont know how you can call it a noob cannon when everyone is saying that all the guns are pretty much the same... so are all guns noob cannons? i use the gun once and awhile and it works great. got me my 20 and 0 victory which will never happen again lol. one of my favorites is the p90 though and once in awhile ill use a shotgun but very rarely.

I can call it a n00b cannon because that is what it is!! I play this game every day and n00bs in general use this gun, and I used it for ages when learning to play, the fact is mate all the guns are different- that is why this game is good. No not all guns are n00b cannons, unless of course you are a total n00b and then any gun you put your hands on is a noob cannon by proxy! (if thats what you are tryin to get at1) :D
