I'm tired of replacing my regular 360 headset every few months. I don't know why, but they just stop working after a period of time. And I don't care if it doesn't happen to you. It's happening to me...NOT YOU. Anyways, What's the best headset money can buy? Because Microsoft's official headset sucks. Oh and the wireless headset doesn't count cause that one has a lot of issues too. Thanks in advanced.

Ive actually heard alot of great things about the HALO 2 headset that was released for the XBOX being the best headset as far as comfort and quality. I havent tried it because I havent found it in any stores (I dont think its manufactured anymore). You can get it on Ebay though. I have the Plantronics XBOX 360 headset and am pretty happy with it however. I just wish that the mouth piece extended out a little further.

My only comment is regarding the wireless one. Don't get it. It hangs wierd on your ear and people complain about the voice quality (they can't hear me).

You're not the only one.  At one point my headset just cut-out for good and I can't hear people and I can't talk to people.  Anyway, did someone say cellphone headsets work?

well for all that dont know.. ALL the wireless headset issues have been fixed. I bought one and havent had a problem with it, nor a single complaint about it. Its only the launch or gen1 wireless headsets that should be avoided. Gen2 and up are fine. it works great, is comfortable and has decent battery life. Sound quality is good to.
