OK so i know there are already a few forums with this same question but it hasn't been asked for a while. So what is you favorite non-violent video game for xbox 360? Or what are some good non-violent videos games for xbox 360? Here,s what i,m looking for: any non violent game for xbox 360 that you like or have heard good things about. can be already released, or it can be in the pipelines to be released. non-violent, meaning NO blood, No gore, No bad language, and nothing above a Teen rating. has to be on xbox 360. can be on xbox original if it is compatible with the xbox 360. games of any genre. So that,s what i,m looking for. and yes i know there aren,t many games like this for xbox 360, but i dont like anything too violent. any help is much appreciated. Cheers!
Portal 1 and Portal 2 are amazing games. Forza series is one of my favorites. Dirt 2 & 3 are a lot of fun Ghost Busters is excellent. Mirrors Edge (may have a bit of foul language and a minor amount violence, but I don't remember blood) Arcade games: Geometry Wars 1 & 2, PacMan Championship Edition, Castle Crashers, Mega Man, 'Splosion Man, Limbo And there are great sports games: NBA 2K11/12, Tiger Woods PGA tour, Kinect Sports, NBA JAM
So a bit of violence is OK as long as it isn't bloody right? If that's the case Tales of Vesperia is a great RPG. OK, there are a couple cutscenes with a bit of blood, but none in gameplay, and even those scenes are extremely rare.
Or if you're into racing games, perhaps you should look into Split//Second. That's a lot of fun.
Haha no i wouldn't consider fifa violent. And the portal games are 2 of my absolute favorite games of all time( i have them for both pc and xbox 360) Forza games are great and so are the dirt games. I have never played any games from xbox arcade before, so i'll have to check those out. Thanks for the suggestions. Keep them coming.
The new Sonic game just came out and it's pretty awesome. It's actually old school style, not that new crap. Definitely check out Sonic: Generations. Only costs $50.
Kameo was pretty good back when the 360 first came out. I guess it's still fun to play now. Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise was a guilty pleasure of mine. Extremely addicting.
What genre's do i like? hmmm, well i have always been a fan of platform games, two of my favorite have been super mario galaxy, and donkey kong country, But i do realize that xbox doesn't have many games like this. I also like a good puzzle game. Portals 1 and 2 are 2 of the most awesome games ever. racing games are great, but by the looks of it the xbox 360 has sooo many good racing games, that by the time i make it through my favorites i'll will be tired of racing games. Um lets see. what else? one thing i have been looking for is a good party game, or just a good 4 player game in general. But keep i don't want anything with violence or gore. thanks for the help. its much appreciated.
If you like Platformers and Puzzle games, perhaps you could check out Prince of Persia Classic. It's a downloadable game for $5. it's short, but it's a fun blend of platformer and puzzle (though it leans more towords platforming). And it's fun to replay to try get a better time and a higher score.
To be quite honest, Xbox 360 doesn't have a ton of games without any violence. But like someone else said, Kameo is a really fun, underrated game. I think your best bet are the Kinect games. They're more of the kiddish type games (no offense intended).

Well like any console there are lots of games that are violent but non violent games are Sports games, Racing games, and puzzle games
You should check out Forza Motorsports4 if you like simulation type racing, or Project Gotham racing 4 if you like more arcade type racing. Burnout Paradise is a fun free-roaming type racing game, but it doesnt have any real cars. Bully: Scholarship edition is sorta like GTA, but it is MUCH less violent (no guns, bombs, knives etc). there are some good puzzle games on xbox live like Bejewelled. You should definately download as many demos as possible, and you can rent games at redbox now too.
I think you could find quite a few good XBLA games you might like if you are considering downloadable games. On top of what has already been recommended: Ilomilo, Raskulls, Puzzle Quest 1+2, Splosion Man + Ms. Splosion Man, The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom, Braid, Stacking, Costume Quest, and I could go on, but I'll stop now.
If you're looking for good nonviolent games, XBLA delivers. Some of the best XBLA titles I've played are Banjo-Kazooie, Sonic 1, 2, and 3, and Sonic and Knuckles.
wow that's a lot of suggestions thanks. @LAZYATHEW ive never heard of the game Prince of Persia Classic but it sounds fun i will check it out. @DRIFTINGSILVIA yeah i know that the xbox 360 doesnt have all that many non-violent games, but i want to keep it non-violent so my little sister (9yrs) can play them with me/watch me play them. Im deffinetely going to get forza, PRG, and burnout. @JADENIC those games sound fun. the splosion man series looks really fun. @MATHMATTS yeah always been a big fan of the old sonic games. i could go for a replay of those old games. Thanks for the comments. I still would like to know what each of your personal favorites are.
It depends if a) you're allowed on XBLA and b) if you are allowed by your parents to see 'shadow violence.'
If you answered 'yes' to both; you should absolutely check out 'Limbo,' especially if you enjoyed the Portal games!
