Best racing game?

I'm thinking of trying a racing game. What is the best? Any suggestions?

arcade racing is easy, unrealistic, these are games like need for speed while simulation racers are like gran turismo and forza motorsport 2. mfacek

Forza 2 is what you want. Tons of cars and racetracks. It's as hard or as easy as you want it to be. Mods, paint, and tuning make for an almost infinite number of choices. I had never played a racing game before Forza 2 but it made me a believer.marcus4hire

IMO Forza is better than Gran Turismo. I own both and like Forza 2 better. if you really want a good sim racer thats the way to go:)

PGR4 and Forza 2 are currently my faves. Flatout's fun, but not really racing just tons of destruction, arcadey stuff.

Burnout Paradise comes in January though, and that one I'm pretty sure is going to be my new favorite.

Let me describe it to you in laymans term:

Arcade Racing - this means bumping, ramming the cars, scraping the walls, cutting the curves will not slow you down and will help you win the race, no realistic effect to it at all. Sometime, even braking is not needed.

Sim Racing - Total opposite of arcade type of racing. The more you those stuff mention above, the less chances you have in winning.

But regardless of these, I recommend both. PGR4 and Forza2 are simply the best out there for what the racing genre has to offer in 360.
