What are the best 5 Racing games? As I am considering to buy the Xbox 360 Steering Wheel; I have NFS Pro Street but I don't really like it. Please give me you opinions, Also did anyone get the Steering wheel? Does it worth the $? Thanks.
Best arcade racers, GRID, PGR4, Midnight Club LA, Burnout Paradise.
Yup. Forza 2 for sim, and Midnight Club is my personal favorite. But his list is definitely the best/most popular races. I could never get into Burnout though, but everybody loves it.
Out of the ones I have played: 1. FlatOut Ultimate Carnage - One of my favorite racing games of all time! :D Real time destruction is so cool. 2. Pure - Fast paced, extreme and not to mention a LOT of fun. 3. Baja Edge of Control - I'm only just starting this one and I am having a blast. Gives you more to think about than just racing. 4. Dirt - Great controls, really puts you in the hot seat. :D 5. Need for Speed Most Wanted - Police chases are immersive, racing is fast and fun, light story holds it together surprisingly well. I do not have the wheel so I cannot comment, but having experience with other wheels on other systems, I can say I'm a better driver when I simply need to flick an analog stick rather than turn a wheel. But driving with a wheel is a pretty cool experience. :P
