Team fortress 2. When it's not laggy,no glitchers,or hackers playing it's a great experience. I've put almost 400 hours into it but the whole hacking thing is starting to really annoy me.
I'm with you on bioshock for the campain but also Quantum of Solace for campain and live. It's a great game and it was named a better shooter than Call of Duty 4 which is pretty impressive. One reason might be because it was in production by the same developer that Call of Duty world at war was. They probably worked harder on that one.
Eveyone is saying Gears just because of its popularity.
I'm saying the CoD series. Amazing.

so just because most of the people didn't choose what you chose, they are saying gears because of popularity?...no...they are saying gears because that's their opinion and they believe gears os the best shooter on the 360
Personally I think it's a bit silly arguing over great games. They're all worth playing and all have their pros and cons.
However, surprised no one has mentioned the Condemned series either. I thought the fisrt Condemned was brilliant and in my opinion was preferable to Bioshock, but that's only my opinion. The second one was good too. And before anyone shoots me down (pun intended) Bioshock was great but I simply enjoyed Condemned slightly more. And I'm NOT saying Condemned is the BEST shooter on the 360, just a great game and worth a mention.
While Gears 2 and COD4 are among the best in the genre, Halo 3 is head and shoulders above them. Why, you ask? Gameplay. No other game has the fluid and intutive controls of the Halo series, whether you are sniping, in close quarters, in vehicle combat, or whatever. Halo works well on so many levels. Of course this is no surprise, since it was Halo that set the two-joystick control standard oh so many years ago.

That game flat out, has the best CO-OP to offer, and A.I. Director is a nice aspect of the game that makes the game different every time. Well, it's the best multiplayer game as long as everyone has a microphone.
I can't vote Gears of War 2 because something about it's multiplayer is just bad, slow matchmaking, laggy games, I'm sorry, but that game can be complete BS at times.

Condemned is awesome!! My winner for the 2008 FPBEUWA2X4 (First-person beat-em-up with a 2x4) Award!! Seriously, I've never had a more visceral gaming experience than prowling around a junky old building wielding a fire axe! :twisted: Right now I'm working on Condemned 2 in "FPS mode", so you could count that as a shooter.
