Best Stories/Campaigns?

infact, there is another games besides REACH, and that is mass effect 2 which i totally forget came out this year :P i was a bit dissapointed with the game relases this year tbh. but i thought reach was a good story specially how it was the prequel to combat evolved

Assassin's Creed 2 if you haven't played it yet, then play Brotherhood (haven't got to that one yet myself).

Reach had a great campaign, one of the series best, but it wasn't the best of the year...

Mass effect 2 for me

Reach has an amazing campaign.

Mafia 2 hands down.

Best Story Campaigns: (in no particular order)

Red Dead Redemption, Mass Effect 1, Mass Effect 2, The Darkness, Bioshock 1, Mafia 2, Metro 2033, Deadly Premonition

For me i'd say Mass Effect 2 by a mile, but if you've already played that youshould check out Red Dead Redemption, Alan Wake and Mafia 2 all of which are great single player games that came out this year

Red Dead Redemption, no contest.

Amazingly, Black Ops had a decent campaign, not amazing, but it was fun. It was a nice bonus.

is it just this year or any 360 game? this year id say ME2, RDR or reach, any 360 game: dead space, bioshock and half life 2 + episodes.

Bioshock for best story, Mass Effect 2 for best campaign.
