I just bought a 720p LCD TV and made the mistake of buying an HDMI cable for my Core system. Apparently, only the Elite has HDMI hookups. So right now I'm stuck using the standard A/V cables that came with my crappy core system, and it sucks. There are also some component video cables, but I'm not sure if that would do anything. So, all you poor Core owners, what kind of cables can I buy to optimize my 360? Any help would be appreciated.

And yes, I know if I was looking for top of the line, I should have bought an Elite and a 1080p Plasma screen, but I have what I have and it's all I can afford.

The new arcade models have hdmi capabilities, but if your core is old then you'll be stuck with component/vga. The component cables also can give you HD, so hook up the component cables, switch it to hd and go to options and select 720p or 1080i, the image will be much much better. Also you can buy the vga cables, to also have the upscalling capabilities for your standard dvds.
