I'm referring to rpgs created by North American and European studios, so games like Lost Odyssey and Mistwalker don't count for this poll. Anyhow, what has been your favorite wrpg thus far? I still love Mass Effectbecause of the fully fleshed-out sci-fi universe every bit as deep and detailed as Star Wars or Star Trek. You?

Personally I love Mass Effect and Dragon Age almost equally but Dragon Age wins out just by a little. The only reason I think it wins is because it's newer but I guarantee you that ME2 will be my favorite game. It looks so much better and I'm hoping Bioware makes the story even bigger and better than the first. I'm a huge sci-fi fan and there just aren't enough sci-fi RPGs on the Xbox 360.

1. Dragon Age(360/ps3/PC) and The Withcer (PC)

2. Mass Effect

3. Risen (PC) or Oblivion/Fallout

Fallout 3. but haven't played DA:O yet. if it's combat is just like KOTOR's (which I keep hearing) then it will be an insta-***** slap to Fallout, and DA:O will become numero uno.

Mass effect, I've been all over that game. I love the characters, the story, the music, the graphics, and the choices that you can make in the game. The fact that ME2 will build on this and improve on the side missions makes this the best RPG on 360. Dragon Age is a very close second.

I've played Fallout 3 for well over a 100 hours, so I'm going with it. :P Haven't tried Mass Effect, think it could be a competitor but not sure if better than FO3.

Oblivion is the best IMO. I put nearly 200 hours into that game and that's without having to loot caves to get gold because I used the duplication cheat. If I did have to spend time looking for things to sell it would've probably pushed me to 250 hours.

Oblivion blew my mind when it was released. It felt alive. More alive than anything I've played before or after. It was the AI that made it special. I think they called it Radiant AI. Each character had a life. You could find him at work at a certain time, at home at another time, in the bar, whatever. Things happened in front of you too. Compare that to Mass Effect where the NPC's only ever move during cut-scenes. When you go to the Citadel or somewhere else to talk to NPC's and progress the story, the NPC's are all static, glued to the spot. They never move.

I still think I enjoyed Oblivion more than any other game on that list. There have been a lot of great RPGs on the 360 so far, that is certain. I would have also put Fable 2 on that list. I have sunken a large chunk of my time into all of those games.

There is an option for 'Other', if you want to choose Fable 2. There are only 5 spaces so it isn't possible to give every game its own space.

Actually I take that back, I don't think an extra slot was needed for Fable 2, since it looks like only 3 people chose "other", which might not necessarily even be Fable 2.

Amen! I agree, Oblivion was a very unique experience to me when i first played it, and I have yet to find another with the same "feel."

I'd definitely have to go with Mass Effect, it's my favorite game on the 360. Fallout 3 is second, followed by Dragon Age.

Mass Effect was my choice, I'm still playing it, right now I'm finishing the 5 achievements I have yet to do, when Mass Effect 2 comes out I want to be ready :D, but also the other games are pretty good, Fallout 3 is close to Mass Effect as being of my favorite games, and Oblivion was my first AAA game on the 360. I have yet to play Dragon Age: Origins, and I'm biased towards Bioware so, as soon as I get it it might be between the best

Fallout 3 hands down. Oblivion was bad, Mass Effect was great but did not reach Fallouts level and I have not played Dragon Age Origins yet, but I know I won't like it as much as Fallout 3 because it is pause and play.

Dragon Age was fantastic, yet Oblivion takes my vote. I had been awaiting and following that last Elder Scrolls instalment since its announcement went out. Went to the store around release week and got Oblivion along with an Xbox 360 because I knew my piss poor PC wouldn't run it, at the time. Couldn't put the controller down, which handled nicely by the way. I was in heaven; had a stellar game (although acknowledging that Morrowind was superior, I was immersed in the astonishing atmosphere of the music to the bird chirps, the beautiful looking graphics- having been my first next-gen game, and the pure fun I had in playing with all the quests and the NPCs going around, talkin' to eachother- that was incredible at the time), and I had a brand new console right in front of me. Such as that was, Oblivion had the support of being the first RPG I had played which implemented next generation graphics and game, thus factoring in to my enthusiasm with it, as I remember. The games that followed then weren't that awe-sapping because they didn't go leaps beyond as Oblivion had for me in way of technicality and features. Fallout 3 was great fun, yet being more of a fantasy guy and feeling like I was replaying a upgraded Oblivion drops the amusement out of it. I didn't enjoy Mass Effect.
