i really liked hexic hd but i think that comes free with every hdd...i purchased jetpac refuelled and loved it..also castlevania is pretty good although quite hard at times

doom is a great game...also calstlevania but it comes down to preference i cant really comment on geometry wars but i didnt really rate it as much as some people do!
RoboBlitz is very good. One of the few arcade games I've actually been able to finish. Some games like Astropop and Zuma seem like mindless fun in the demo, once you buy it they get kinda hard, kinda fast.
I don't want to put 40 hours into an arcade game. I just don't have the time.
woah forgot about this! was one of the games i quoted that i wanted on xbox live! so great! i now need sonic to come and i think streets of rage is coming aswell!
I found worms to be pretty damn fun, don't know about you guys but its the best Arcade game ive played for the xbox though Bomberman is coming soon also...
Uno is pretty good for socializing with friends, although i think the comp actions are really really slow, they kinda slow down the process. Texas hold'em will also be good if those comps move faster. Haven't purchased any other games yet, but i think bomberman would be pretty awesome.
I have 10 that I purchased and or downloaded for free. Geo wars, Uno, Outpost Kaloki X, Joust, UMK 3, Rush n' attack, Hexic, Aegis Wing, Boom Boom Rocket, and Novadrome. They are all good in thier own way but if I had to pick only one then Boom Boom Rocket would get the win. It's addicting, fun, and an easy 200. special nods go to Uno, Geo Wars, and outpost Kaloki X
Personally, I can't stand retro graphics so I usually prefer the original / remade games on XBLA. (Which is the reason why I didn't say Castlevania although it is meant to be a brilliant game).
I'd definetely say Castlevania: Symphony of the Night... But if your looking for a game to just play in very short burst, like an arcade style game then I'd probally go with DOOM or Geometry Wars, but seriously Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is an awesome game and if you haven't played it before you should definetely do so.
alien hominid, castlevania, uno, or geometry wars there are tons of good games cloning clyde, heavy weapon, aegis wing, etc. but those seem to be the best and also texas hold 'em seemed pretty good when i last played it moves really quick now instead of its old slow speed thanks to the update oh and it was free.
