Tales of Vesperia with Fallout 3 in a close second. Both were amazing games that ate up a lot of my time.

GRID. I was expecting lots from Gears of war 2 but the multiplayer was a flop. GRID as great graphics, great multiplayer and a lengthy engaging single player. Every time i play fallout 3 i get annoyed with the shooting being about stats not skill. Also, GRID was an original title (excluding the toca race driver series) not a sequel like nearly every game here. (Gears 2, Fallout 3, Call of duty 5, GTA 4)

Fallout 3 for sure. I liked Gears 2 and GTA IV but Fallout 3 was simply the best.
