BFBC 2 hardcore mode

Hello all,

I have a small question regarding the hardcore mode in BFBC 2. Whenever I hover over the this option it says: "In hardcore mode your bullet do more damage..." etc etc. but whenever I play hardcore mode with a sniper oriented intention, I always get hitmarkers as if it was normal gameplay?! Anyone care to explain?

Yes, you get hitmarkers. But the HUD is drastically reduced and you can die easier.

yeah it isnt like call of duty hardcore. it just means you have to be more careful and teamwork is even more necessary. just put on magnum ammo it should help a bit

so basically you dont get any kind of an advantage besides the OHKO area is improved from head-only to cheast-head area. understood.
