BFBC2 terrible

played the demo over the weekend, and i couldnt get into it at all...

the game seems really slow paced, and your character cant turn quickly at all

it also seemed choppy to me...i dont love MW2 either but it definetly plays much smoother

also the aiming seemed terrible...

maybe its just not the game for me, idk but anyone thinkin it is a MW killer or even a competitor is mistaken

the movement is the actual momentum you'd have on a battlefield do to the weight of the 100 lbs items you're carrying around a feature put in by DICE with Frost Engine lol...just thought I'd clear that up, the other stuff you mentioned is opinion so I'll leave that alone.

Thats exaclty how its when you on the battlefield....

You dont run perfectly liek you don in cod or 100MPh with a special perk in a battlefield you suppose to run sluggish and not turn around fast

I though the demo was awsome...and its a day 1 buy for me!

Plus there are sensitivity options in the menu...

Sluggish movement? Have you seen the rucksack that a sniper or even a regular ground pounder has to hump? Ammo, MREs, and water all add up. BFBC2 just made movement a bit more realistic, IMO. Kind of like Killzone 2. Anyways, BFBC2 is just not your cup of tea. No worries.

the echoes in buildings are extremely impressive.

The only fake sort of thing is the unlimited sprint, but that's necessity if you need to get back to the battleground.

I didn't really enjoy the demo. I didn't like the first one either.

i still fail to see why people go into the game expecting it to be Battlefield 3. Its a slightly smaller spin off with destructible envrionments and a singleplayer campaign, nothing more nothing less...

Go back to the "other" modern game.

Dice already confirmed Battlefield 3.

Played the beta for BC2 on PC and thought it was fun. It doesn't run that great though so I might try the demo.

I must be crazy, I've had more fun with Bad Company than I did with Battlefield 2. :? I just was not a fun of Battlefield 2, I like 1942 more.

1942 > Bad Company 2 > Bad Company > Battlefield 2 > Vietnam. That is how I would rank the Battlefield's I played.

It's a day one for me as well. Anyone comparing it to MW2 is never gonna find a happy ground. Just because they are both FPS's, does not mean that they are the same... or should be compared to as such. BC2 gives you the feeling of being in a real wartime environment. I was in Afghanistan for one year, and can honestly say that the mechanics BC2 uses appeals to me more. If I want an epic battle for a 360 FPS, I'll play this. If I want a fast, arcade style game to play, I'll load up MW2. And on a last note... trying to snipe while tanks and explosions rock your camera is completely awesome.

The game is complete trash. I can't believe any of you people like it. The frame rate was abysmal, bullets lag, the net coding is bad, the graphics did not improve, and it just felt odd and clunky to play. Thank god for the demo... definitely will not be buying

30 FPS is abysmal? What? Bullets Lag? Every game has bullet lag, and if you are talking about the snipers, Battlefield has a delay at long distances and a bullet drop to make sniping harder and slightly more realistic. What do you mean the graphics did not improve? While it wasn't a major jump, they did improve to an extent over the first one.

Wont happen fast because the xbox 360 probaly cant handle so many player sadly ( while we pay for internet online it still sucks ).

Was just "meh." The best way to enjoy the demo is get a squad of friends and play it that way, otherwise it gets old faster than MW2...which is actually an impressively terrible thing.

its pretty much the exact opposite to mw2......with that i think battlefield gets boring after awhile so im gonna try and get it used

Didn't have the problems the OP mentioned and I absolutely do think a whole bunch of people will be playing it instead of MW2 as soon as it comes out.

Up the aim sensitivity...and it probably feels choppy cos its the beta, I thought it was an improvement over Bad company 1 which itself was a pretty good game

I couldn't get into the first BFBC so I don't want to play the second.

From what I played it was horrible. People fall over and die about two seconds after you actually kill them, the game is extremely clunky, and the graphics are sub mediocre at best. I am not a fan of the film grain and I find it extremely annoying. These battlefield games don't stay true to the older PC versions. Those were REAL battlefield games. Bad company is a just a crappy spinoff with an unimpressive destruction gimmick.
