why cant other companies make bigger HDD's for cheaper prices?

lol... Microsoft does like to control things as best as they can, but that never stops third party companies from producing accessories for the system.

The cost probably isn't sufficient enough to turn much of a profit for many companies, though I could be way off.

I'm surprised you really would need more. I have the elite and I haven't even used 20 gigs yet so I could very well still be on the premium.

i dont need more space, i was just wondering. due to the high price of the 120 hdd.

I have an elite and I've used about 25gb so far. But that's why I got an elite. The 20gb for me was just too small. A few demos here and there + DLC + saves and you're full.

yeah i neded buying the 120. i really like it because the tv shows and stuff. since i am in the hospital alot it helps when i take my xbox there. thats the only thing good about army hospitals. it would be nice to see companies like seagate making a hdd for the 360.
