I remember the trial for Outpost Kaloki X, it was good if I remember correctly, but there were other games I wanted at the time and it's sort of fell off the radar now. Speaking of Test Drive Unlimited, do many people still play? I might be interested in picking it up.karriston
Yes there are still a decent number of people playing TDU online, though the way online works is a bit weird. Technically everyone is on the same map, but the way it groups people together you never see more than 8 other people at once. Each time you view the map and return to the world it will be with a different group of people. It is fairly easy to meet up with Friends and drive around the island, or you can meet up at events and race each other in set events.
It is also totally free-roam, meaning you can drive anywhere, on-road, off-road, up the side of the mountain until you run out of traction and slide back down :) It's now down in bargain bin prices so it's well worth picking up.
The handling is not very realistic, though they have gone to a lot of effort to be accurate with the cars, and there is a very large collection of authentic cars and bikes which can be upgraded and resprayed to custom colours.
