Bing Rewards Free Microsoft Points

So apparantly Bing is running a program, if you use Internet Explorer and download their toolbar and sign up you get 250 free bings rewards credits (1 credit equals 1 MS Point) and they have offers where you search XXX number of searches and get XXX number of points etc, here are some links if you dont know what I am talking about.

So if you have experience with this offer, I have a question. Do they mail a fresh new Microsoft Points Card to your house, or do they just email you the code?

The 250 up front seems nice, but after that the points are really slow. This isn't something your going to milk it till its dry.

I did however get to 400 and got 400 ms points, so its good for that at least.

I didn't ask if it was good, I realize it is slow and everything, I just want to know do they mail the points card to your house or do they email you the code???

EDIT: Forgot to add, just click the related searches on the left hand side of the page for your daily searches. It makes it go way faster then typing in a new search each time, even to typing "a" (press enter) and then type "aa" (press enter) doesn't take too long either.

It's slow usually. 250 upfront and you can get up to like 8 points per day I think. 5 searches = 1 point. Plus they have these special things every once in a while where you just click on a button and it gives you 6 points. Already have enough for 300 points without doing much work. You can only redeem the points 30 times (so 3,000 total) and then it's useless.wwervin

As it is now, you can get ~60 points/day with the Bing toolbar. This is about 100MS Points every 2 days. The downside is that you can only order 30 MS Point cards per account. The MS Point codes arrive via email.

I also recommend checking out swagbucks.com. You get "swagbucks" for searching too, but you also get swagbucks for watching videos, doing polls, surveys, etc. Use the swagbucks to purchase $5 Amazon cards. Then purchase your MS Points from Amazon. I max out at 5 $5 Amazon cards/month.

Doing that, in addition to the Bing toolbar gets me pretty much all the MS Points I need.

Coincidentally, my increased use of the horrible IE8 lead me to get a virus on my computer, and the computer is still un-usable at this point in time.

So, while this is neat it didn't really work out for me.

You're right. I guess I did the special offers on Saturday and then they reset the next day on Sunday, so I just assumed they were daily. So now it looks like you get a max of 16/day, and then 48 on Sunday for a max of 160/week. That's not too bad. Unfortunately, there appears to be a max of 30 prize redemptions for the ms points card.

It appears to be random. For some it is 1 in 2 searches. For me, it is 1 in 5. If I understand correctly, it randomizes on Sunday so it will be something different.

I prefer using AVAST virus protector. it catches everything. been using it for 5 years

Make sure that you shut your browsers down before installing it. Also, it doesn't work with Firefox.

Does anyone know if this is a US only thing?
