Well I've only played it for an hour and a half, but it's not very intuitive. The swinging is a little hard to get fluid with in the beginning. Kind of makes trying to get better at it more a chore than fun. Still I got it for $29 with trade ins and I'm going to keep playing it of course, but so far it's not fun out of the box for me. Anyone else got it?

Where did you find it at? I called my local Gamestop and they said that they were supposed to get it today, but it won't be in store until tomorrow. Best Buy also still shows it as a pre-order title. I might just hit up Wal-Mart tonight and see if they have it.

Got it at Gamespot in the Manhattan Mall, 34st and 6 ave, NYC. Hate when I trade in games then gamble on one and am not having enough fun to lose track of time. I can't say it's bad, but it's not holding my attention.

I know a few people who have it. Some really like it and others think it's boring and say the swinging sucks.

Just got home and from GameStop, and just at the beginning of this game, I'm starting to regret I paid $64 bucks for it. Can we return it and purchase another game?

Thank god I didn't pay full price! I'm going to try and muscle through it some more but yeah the swinging just isn't fluid. I want to accept it's me being a sucky player, but the mechanics are clunky, the timing of the release doesn't always ensure reaching the next available grapple point. If I have to stop and map out my swing before trying to traverse the area, it just kills it for me. Guess I should stick with Spiderman 2.

I don't know if I just somehow know how to swing around or what, but I'm thinking about buying a capture card so I can post videos of some of the badass stuff I can do. Just to show how well the mechanic works. You just have to use the reticule and aim at what you want to grapple. Hold down LT and when the reticule turns blue it will grapple itself. I think the grapple/swing mechanic is spot on. I'm really enjoying this game.
