i like both....but bioshock 2 lasted me longer because of the mutiplayer

I would recommend the first game, although both wouldn't hurt your collection, the first game is only $19.99 and is a cheap buy, the story will suck you in and the deeper you get into rapture the more will love the game, the second game was not as addictive b/cc we saw it before, but it is a great game and well worth the time to play through, and i did enjoy the multi player but it was quiet laggy but its playable.
The first game was outstanding the second not so much, and as for the multiplayer thats awful. Worse lag than gears 2 ever experienced and thats saying something!firebolt53i liked the mutiplayer....it didnt lag for me

You've probably just gotten used to it. 2K admits it lags horribly. Somedays it's nearly unplayable.

I liked Bioshock 1 better. But i also liked the second one, which was inferior to B1.
Exactly my thoughts The MP is very dull even if it sounds cool. Story wise bioshock 1 but if you want Mp well ya bioshock 2 mp in bs2 is coolI cannot believe anyone would say Bioshock 2 is worse than the first. I loved them both alot. I say if you have one you better have the other. and like everybody else, im not going to let bad comments aboutBS2thwart me from getting Infinate.

BioShock 2 was awesome. Dual wield a gun and plasmid. The plasmids also let you do more creative things with it. I also like that they added parts where you follow the Little Sister around and protect her.
Fair comment even if I dont agree. However infinite even looks bad, they are essentially copying the game into a new setting. That doesnt work any more, especially for something that specifically has a story driven narrative. This game should have ended at bioshock 2, and moved on into a new IP altogetherI cannot believe anyone would say Bioshock 2 is worse than the first. I loved them both alot. Both are very good games, but some of the WOW factor I felt had worn off by the time the second came around.
bs2 is awesome...u should get itI haven't played Bioshock 2, but Bioshock 1 is definately one of my favorite games this gen.

I love one I must of played it like 5 times to get all the achievements. I like 2 but it's kind of boring. I don't have Live so what is the multiplayer like? Do you just fight other people as big daddies in parts of Rapture?

But with this minor descrempacy everything else looks awesome. Bioshock infinate is going to be in my collection regardless.I cannot believe anyone would say Bioshock 2 is worse than the first. Bioshock 1 is immensely better than 2. I couldn't eve manage to try a 2nd playthrough of 2. Just goes to show that the developer matters much more than the IP. I'm glad to see Irrational Studios back on Infinite and I'm pretty excited for it. :)
I've only played Bioshock 1 but it was one of the best games I played that year. Great gameplay, great story, great game.

I don't really like Bioshock 2, it's not bad but it didn't impact me like the first one did, and so I never get to finish it.
[QUOTE="xMarex"]its not a prequel...its set before bs1 but its its own game lol ipso facto, its a prequelIsn't Infinite a prequel tho?
