im not a fan of either but im pretty sure bioshock will win. Its known for its rich storyline and beautiful atomsphere. not to mention there will be a multiplayer pretty sure so it will be new unlike gow2 it may have a good story line but pretty sure the multiplayer will be the same. epic may just add in a few new stuff to the multiplayer like new maps and new game modes but us gamers probably know what to expect from gears of war 2. as in bioshock we never seen a multiplayer before so it will be a new thing to us.
I didnt vote because itd be impossible for me to answer because they are both amazing games. if i HAD to pick id say gears 2 but only because its coming out sooner, if they came out the same time i would never be able to choose.
considering how even on casual the last boss was way too hard to kill in GOW, I am looking forward to bioshock 2.
plus I have the collectors ceramic big daddy statuette and would like another LOL

Raam was not that hard to kill. it took me 2 trys on casual. i have to go with gears 2. the only things i like about bioshock more then gears is the story and the atmosphere.
Bioshock 2. I was raised on singleplayer gaming so i am able to take my time and appreciate a game with a good story and overall singleplayer experience. Not at all detracting from GoW's singleplayer chops but in my honest opinion the first Gears had a very superficial feeling sp component where words can hardly do justice to the narrative artwork of Bioshock.
