Bioshock 2's MP is far from perfect...

But my God, it's awesome!

Maybe I'm just tired of the popular MP shooters with all the D-bags but the community for this game is pretty good. Sure there are definitely people who don't talk, but I haven't ran into any trash talking, very few kids, and when people do talk - they will actually strategize.

The net code and hit detection definitely is poor and I've had my fair share of weird deaths, but to play something that isn't so generic - it's a breath of fresh air!

Does anyone else feel this way?

Lets be honest its not the most popular MP game out there, but yes i totally agree with you about the trash talk and is a enjoyable load of fun. if i was more popular say as mw2 then maybe it would attract the ten year old hard nuts haha i rekon bad company 2 should prepare it selflol

I really liked it at first, then i got to lvl 20 then started to get tired of it.

I have to admit though there was no trash talking or people yelling.

Honestly IMO They Screwes A Perfectly Good Game By Adding MP,Even Game Doesn't Need Or Has To Have MP To Make It Great.Just Look At Mass Effect2.

This was my first interpretation when it was first announced that the sequel would include MP. Which may be why I enjoy it because I had zero expectations. Still can't deny the fun factor.

Agree with you 100%. It's a nice break from MP like BC or MW.

I will say though I hope they don't intend to expand it further. Bioshock 2 was always great because of single player for me, and I want it to stay great. When adding more and more things for MP the original campaign gets less attention.

Meh, it was a nice distraction for a bit, but after the novelty wore off i almost completely lost interest.

And it's great that the game has a good community, but i stopped plugging in my mic for games i'm playing w/o friends after i quit playing the first Gears. I have no desire to talk to anyone on live that i'm not already friends with. And when i do play with my friends we mute everyone else anyway.

it was fun for the first few levels, then it just got old really fast for me. it's fun for a few matches but like i said it just didn't have the staying power for me

This game would be much better if they patched it. It needs to stop freezing every other hour and they need to fix the lag.
