Bioshock is the game that made me buy a 360 to begin with so you can't go wrong there. Assassin's Creed? I guess it's an acquired taste. I loved it but I know a lot of people who thought it wasn't anything special... The ending has me looking for part 2 though. If you're curious, I'd say rent it first.
Bioshock has better gameplay because Assassin's Creed is the king of redundancy, and Bioshock has a waaaaaaaaaaaay better story than Assassin's Creed ever would.
Assassin's Creed was fab!!! I loved it all the way! You will love it too if you like games with a story, especially conspiracy stories. But some of the missions get a tad repetetive. I havent played Bioshock but i hear its equally as good. Probably not helping much am i
