Since most of the achievements for Bioshock are collection based I was wondering if there is anything that can be missed that you can't go back for or anything that is one-time only acquire. Ijust got to the dental area so i am not very far into the game but I don't want to miss anything and have to play through all over again just to get item to unlock an achievement. Bioshock rules by the way.
There is only one area you can't go back to, and there are a few diaries in there, its got newspaper clippings and pictures all over the wall, and comes sort of midway through the game, you're no way near it yet.
Most areas can be revisited through the transportation system if you need to go back for something.
Later in the game you meet this guy obsessed with taking pics of dead people. He wants you to finish his masterpiece and when it is finished make sure you dont kill him. If you let him live, later in the game you will have to kill him in his room and there's one of those weapon upgrades. Also the Brass Balls achievement is for if you turn off the Vita chambers and set it to the hardest difficulty. And the place you start the game there are a few one time only diaries you have to get then.

Figured that would be my problem when I played it while back, I killed that guy.
