What difficulty did u play bioshock on?

I started on easy cuz i just wanted to enjoy the game but then i changed it to normal cuz it was so easy. now its fairly hard tho....

what was hard like?

to be honest Bioshock does not offer a big challenge once you know the city and enemies from the 1st playthrough but i got to admit that some splicers and big daddies are tough to kill on hard(specialy trying to beat a big daddy on the beginning). But you will always find plenty of ammo, med kits, when needed. You also have to approach enemies with a little bit more strategy and not just guns blazin.

Depends if you use the Vita chambers or not. If you use Vita chamers then the difficulty makes little difference - you can club most enemies to death with your wrench and have little trouble - if you die you respawn at the nearest chamber with everything you had when you died, but enemies remain damaged. Difficulty makes it harder if you don't use the vita chambers, but if you plan ahead and don't face big daddies head on then hard is a fun challenge. Face them head on and you are in for a beating :)

Started on easy because I wanted to see how the story turned out, then I beat it on hard after that. Wasn't to difficult.

First time i played it was told to play it on hard, the game is fairly easy with really no punishment for death i think the hard mode is just right for the game.

I am on my first playthrough and I am playing on the normal difficulty. That's usually the difficulty I choose for my first playthrough or everything! So far I am maxing out my money a lot, which is disappointing, but it is still providing a challenge.

I recently beat it on hard with vita chambers turned off and I thought it was still pretty easy, but still fun.

I beat it on easy twice. raded it in before I got to beat it again. I really regret it. :(

I'm on my first playthrough on Normal. It's a little challenging, mostly because of the Big Daddies, which I only fight when there is a Little Sister involved.
