Bioshock graphic are NOT bettter than GOW

i just finish playing bioshock. The graphics are great but are not comparable to GOW. look at the close up polygon on bioshock, they look really low quality with wash out color. please do yourself a favor and play GOW, compare the game side by side. Bioshock is great game, great graphics but not onpar with GOW in terms of graphics.

NOTE: The most impressive graphics i have seen is from a ps3 game heveanly sword. this is really a game that look cg.

They are better on Gears and Your a fanboy. Dont bring yer ps3 stuff into here and compare it with a 360 game

We're not talking about Heavenly sword here...that's basically spam.

Gears and Bioshock graphics are roughly similar. But I love Gears' so I'll side with it :)

gears is better, especially the character models and textures. Bioshock didn't wow me like most, Gears wowed me for months. I'd just be playing a game online, and all of a sudden I'd just think "these graphics are insane"

And guess what people, Bioshock is out over 9 months after Gears.

well been honest, Heveanly sword, look better than anything i have seen, i hate ps3 but i got it be honest. Well lets wait for gamespot review on bioshock and u'll see what i mean about the graphics. going tecnically (even if my english is crappy since i'm latino) the light sourcing gears of war are better, also the bump mapping on the characters. bioshock characters look flat, with only wash out colors. u are navigating room by room. and the use of dark always hide the bad polygon from the truth. Get close to any wall in gears and bioshock and see which one is using high res detail polygon and who's using low end wash out color polygons, the enenmies are build with low polygon count, and their animation is really bad. CONDEMEND have better animation (which actually look real and not like toys). they should had spend more time on the animation since both game seem to be in the same genre and CONDEMEND (a first generation game) does it much better. sorry but u are all wrong, this game does not touch GOW

Then how come they Heng Chong Song Asian girl's face looks like she put TOO much make up on? The textures on her face look like 20 heaping piles of turd.

You are right the graphics are not better. The graphics in Bioshock are much better. Actually if you think about it. Yeah I guess I can say this. Bioshocks graphics are the best so far in ANY console game. Your right. Good job.

So? Bioshock is bigger and longer, so they had to detail more than gears had to. Gears is a short game, Bioshock is long, stop trying to defend gears.

They;re easily better than GOW. The first scene where your in the water after the plane crash easily proves that.-Halftime-

Yes the water effect in Bioshock are amazing but u cannot judge a game on the first seem. if u look close at the water, is just a big flat moving polygon pattern with reflection and Hdr ligh sourcing. i'm sorry to say this again, and mention the ps3, but if u want to say that because of the water this game has the best graphic, i'm sorry but take a look at this game for ps3 LAIR, and look at the water. you know might think that this game because of the water effect is the mother of all games graphics. http://www.gametrailers.com/player/21213.html

Gears was rushed, and has onlinemultiplayer/co-op. How long has Bioshock been in development?

Bioshock>Gears

In every way.

Including multiplayer

(no multiplayer is better than that crap they had in gears)

character models in gears are better but i never liked the enviroments in gears they were always so dull. Especially the caverns they were terrible. But still the character models were amazing. Bioshocks character models are not as good but i like the style of them. The people really do look crazy. The enviroments set it apart though, the lighting, water, and simply the style make it more fantastic to look at then gears.

And that quote sums it up. Bioshock is a nicer looking game to look at. High density textures, and high poly count doesnt always mean better looking. Style has alot to do with it.
