Bioshock - Hate it or love it?

I hear a lot of ppl that say they like Bioshock and a lot of ppl who say they hate it. I'm one that likes it and all I can say is that ppl only hate it cause no multiplayer. Whose wit me on this?

I couldn't get into it and the gameplay did nothing for me.

It was the first game I played on the 360.

I liked it. the big daddies were hard to kill on normal difficulty. but was also getting used to the controls

I played on easy and finished it. the ending was way too easy. well compared to gears of war it is.

The only thing about bio shock is the replayability. I dont see much replayability.

the best part of this game is I bought the collectors edition with the replica of Big Daddy. Sweet.

I love it. Awesome game. Nothing beats a stellar single player experience, and Bioshock delivers nothing less than that.

I hope they come out with DC for the game too so we can have more plasmids/tonics/etc...That would be great.

I'd give it an 8/10 its fun. but short, story was bland and boring IMO. plasmids and the other skills w/e their called (i rented the game when it came out so forgot what they are called)are fun but i wish it had a couple more. small bugs and minor framerate/freezing issues for some people (not all experienced it but i know some did, and gamespot meantions the freezing aspect). the environment and atmosphere was the best part about the game.

And i could honestly turn my cheek on the negative things i just meantioned if the AI wasn't simple minded and....ok i'll say it, retarded, and the mission/map system was last-last gen. explore the map freely besides locked areas, then you go from point A to point B, back to point A, to point C, then back somewhere inbetween. alot of boring backtracking, i hated it. especially since i was playing Res. Evil 4 for the Wii not too long b4 bioshock and its pretty much the same thing.

Bioshock was aimed at the older gamer market, like say, the 24-35 year olds.

Alot of teens or evenyoungerprobably lack the mental faculty to understand why it's such a great game. Not that they're too dumb, but they just don't really care about the concepts presented in the gameplay and storyline.

Multiplayer has no place in a game like Bioshock. It would've been tacked on, like The Darkness' Multi.

Bioshock is easily one of the best games I've ever played.

Alot of people aren't into single player experience. It just isn't there forte. I can understand that. i feel that I am dissapointed when a game has strong Multiplayer and weak/below averagesingle player. I really liked the single player experience that Bioshock offered. It deserved all the press it got. I plan to play it again once the Halo Virus is out of my blood!! :D

Yeah, there's always exceptions. Good to know some younger people fully appreciate the game.

I didn't like it. The gameplay wasn't fun, small enemy variety, it was the easiest game I have ever played, was short, had no replay value, the characters weren't interesting except for that artist, and I didn't find the story very interesting.

Also due to uninteresting gameplay multiplayer would not have been very good, and co-op pointless as it would take away from the good points of the game such as the atmosphere and sound.

Not a bad game,but not as good as Halo 3.

CoD 4 LOOKS EVEN BETTER.
