Bioshock just red ringed my 350...

I was playing fine tell you get to the second or third little daddy you kil(cant remember witch) and when i was playing a red and black checkered patten appeared and it froze....so i took it out and tryed again...same thing so i play two worlds for awhile everythigns fine, so i try bioshock again and guess what it freezes i turn it off and on again and i get the red lights....

I cant send it back because i had opened it up cause it had a problem reading games and i fixed it..now this....Well i guess it was a long run for a launch system

Man it was lightning outside just when I was playing bioshock and the power went out for a second. When it came back on I had the 3 red lights. but when i turned it off and back on everything was fine. Should I be worried?MonacoX

Seeing that it was most likely a power issue I advise unplugging your power cable and plugging it back in. But thats just for precaution. As far as I know you shouldnt worry about the red lights but if your games start freezing then its most likely going to die. But again it was most likely a fluke with the storm, the console got confused by the loss of power and casued it to eff up for a second.

This happened to me while playing a game a while ago

That heppended to me too, I was playing splinter cell pandora tomorrow, and we had a power surge, and i got the red rings of death, but when i turned it back on later, it was fine. worked fine since. (that was about 8 months ago)

no joke i played bioshock for about 2 days, then i haven't played for about 2 days i go to put in the game and bamm the ring of death. i wanted to play soo bad because i couldn't play due to work and wtf the 3 rings. i had my 360 since Jan 2006, i can count on one hand how many times its froze and all of a suldden aug 25 2007 its FUBAR.

But due to Microsoft benevolent policy their going to fix it free of charge. so i can't complain i knew this was going to happen some time because of the heat sink issues, i just didn't think this soon.

M$ changed the warranty to 3 years for the 3 red light problem and only that
