wow i keep hearing tons of rumors about an official bioshock movie coming out between 2009 /10 if it did will it be good or not what do you think?

I am not into video game movies to much.I think they should just stay as video games.

I agree. Not very many good video game movie. Doom was definitely not a good one.

I have no hopes whatsoever for the movie. I actually went to watch the Doom movie. It killed my hopes for a good video game based movie. If it gets good reviews and it actually looks good i might watch it but i highly doubt it.

The only two decent parts about the movie were A.The Rock.And B.The first person aspect towards the end.But even those two great things could not save it.

I hated the FPS thing, it was like they didn't think gamers would relate otherwise. Also, changing it from Hell Demons to genetic mutations was not cool. The first Mortal Kombat was good, but that's the only video game movie I liked. Even Angelina Jolie couldn't make Tomb Raider live up to expectations. If only the Peter Jackson Halo project worked out, that would have been epic.

I bet instead of an underwater city from the 1950's they'll change it into New York City, 2015. Stray from the game you botch up the movie. Reminds me of Super Mario Bros. the movie.

I hear that the director of Pirates of the Caribbean is directing the BioShock movie trilogy. It was said first one will be out when the 3ed bio shock game is released.

I dont think it will be good at all Bioshock is a waste of time as a video game, so it will be a waste of time as a move :P

the only video game moves I saw that were great, was the silent hill, and resident evil, but if this is true, this could end up being an awesome movie

It has such amazing potential to be a great movie, it's one of the coolest video game stories out there. But I'd be willing to bet you a cupcake that it will be terrible.

If they made it just right, it would be a very great movie. But look a DOOM, Resident Evil, Street Fighter...yeah.

some video game movies are crap some aren't

Like resident evil was good along with silent hill. It has potential but I think it will fail.

They need a MGS movie....

i heard about the HALO thing too, peter jackson is a great director. honestly ive only played halo a handful of times and that only includes halo 3 and i didnt see why the game is so huge, i like plenty of other fps games alot better lol. but im sure that a movie wouldda been pretty sick.

I agree that doom was a terrible movie but what did you expect for a game with no real story line from the 80's and 90's. Bioshock was a great game I dont care what anyone says... if you didn't like, you didn't play it. A movie adaptation would be amazing. Of coarse they are gonna change some aspects but thats the only way to fit it into a reasonable time frame... im not trying to sit through a 3 1/2 hr movie.... i dont care how good it is.
