I know they don't care. But what they don't care about doesn't make it a fact. Fact remains exclusive means something like Forza 2. Not Oblivion, not Halo and definitely not Bioshock.
OK Mr. Technical. CONSOLE exclusive, there, happy? No? Whatever. Anyway, exlcusive don't really matter, but in a weird way. If things continue this way then there will be very little reason to buy a PS3 when you already have a 360, or vice versa. Now, that's not really a problem, its actually nice to have most of the games out on each system. Now here's the problem, and I admit its a weird one: Now the only reason to buy the other system is, basically, for first party exclusives you won't see anywhere else. So that means you really get less value for your purchase when you buy a PS3 just to play God of War and maybe Devil May Cry. You guys see what I'm getting at? Not a big deal, but its interesting nonetheless.That's pretty much why I traded in my original Xbox... I bought a PS2 because of GTA III and then all the games I cared about on Xbox were already on PS2 (didn't get roped into playing Halo / Halo 2 until a very short time ago) or, worst case scenario, PC (Morrowind). Resistance Fall Of Man looked like a cool game, but 360 has great shooters too so it's not a big loss to me. Final Fantasy XIII may be all well and good, but Blue Dragon looks more like my kind of thing. Who needs Gran Turismo when you've got Forza? Or Tekken when you've got DOA? If I don't get a PS3, it's not because I don't think it's a good system, it's because I think I won't get $600 out of it. 360 has better online, right now has better exclusives (though I do miss Ape Escape!), and PS3 will have to really have something big in their closet for me to try and balance play between 3 consoles right now. So it's the same situation, although with more game companies relying less on console exclusives, it's certainly a more obvious situation now.
Like another poster said, though... I don't care if it comes out for every system. As long as it comes out for 360 too, and is decent.
