I've been having a large debate with my friends over which is better, Bioshock or Assasin's Creed. They all say Assasin's Creed, but I think it's mainly because they aren't into FPS. And I guess it all depends on your point of view, but as a player of both and a liker of both FPS and RPG, I say Bioshock. I think the storyline is more in depth. And the graphics kill me. And I could play it over and over and over and OVER and never get bored. Don't get me wrong, though, I love AC too. But what do you think?

Bioshock by a far margin. While both are visually nice, the gameplay and story of bioshock keeps it interesting/fun all the way through.

Bioshock does seem to be more in dept. Although I only tried the demo it really sucked me into the game immediately and I really felt like there were cyborg-zombies in my dark basement at the time. I had no idea what to expect from the story line, but I was pleasantly surprised. I can remember running to a corner and franticly looking around with my wrench when I was at one point trapped in a movie theater as if my life really depended on it, unlike AC in which I felt like I was playing a game.

AC was fun, yet I feel like it was the same mission over and over, and it really never was hard for me. Reminded me a lot of hitman in the way it allows you to go about the assassinations by force or stealth and it's pretty much open ended. A really fun concept, yet the actual missions could be fine tuned better. Not worth the 60 dollars (at the time) imo.

In all I would say Bioshock takes the cake for it's game play and story line, in fact I should go buy it .....

I perfer Bioshock one of my best games ever on 360. I only had one complaint about and it was at the end, the last boss was to easy, the Big Daddies gave me a harder time than the final boss.

Both of these games graphics have jaw dropping potential if you have a HDTV, I think AC was boring after the first few hours but BS had my attention from start to finish, I say Bioshock.

Bioshock was more of an experienced to me. Assassin's Creed did has its moments like when you first saw Damascus but Bioshock had more special moments that I will forever remember IMO. Not only I couldn't stand the epicness when I first saw Rapture but there is so much more to the gameplay besides shooting the enemy.

I disagree on every point in the AC review, clearly some people don't appreciate historical storylines. Also something I found interesting in it is you didn't mention a single thing about the alternating timelines that carry the story. I'm sure you thought the present interactions were just filler scenes, but more than anything it's what will continue to the next game and did a good job at it.

The combat system really depended on the users skill, an assassin never gets hit always gets the task done. There were a number of offensive and defensive attacks as well as a good array of weapons. You didn't have to achieve only three tasks and thats it for an assassination, that's called rushing the game there's a number of other intel and tasks to pass the time. AC is far from overated and if you took the time to grasp all the concepts within it, it would've been a more enjoyable experience.

Bioshock...but Assassin's Creed is fantastic. A lot of people who compalin about Assassin's Creed's repetition do forget Bioshock's bevy of fetch quests though. I know it goes along with the "would you kindly" philosophy, but it IS a bit annoying. Bioshock ain't perfect, but i say it's still a leg up over Creed.

If I had to choose one over the other, definitely Bioshock. I'd much rather play that game again than Assassins Creed. But I love Assassins Creed also. Overall: I've found no reason to play either games again because of the lack of replay value.

ah hahahahaha yeah i thoroughly enjoyed assassins creed's story.............until the cliffhanger that made halo 2's ending look like a masterpiece. the present day parts were incredibly pointless and the whole plot in general was so far fetched its not even funny. but you can stand as a one man army because i guarentee you that far more people will say that assassins creed was a redundant piece of crap.

well, even though i think Bioshock is overrated, at least it's not as repetitive as AC

BioShock, this is NO debate. BioShock is just an amazing, amazing game. Assassins Creed it mediocre at best, the whole memory- and in the present thing is stupid.

Bioshock, due to its story and customization of the character and the action is good.

While Assasins Creed is a good game it is limited in what you can do and there is hardly and gameplay changes throughout the whole game.

I love it how some people are telling TC to get one of the games... as if it he/she didn't already play them and is just asking for our opinions to settle a debte between him/her and his/her friends. He said he played both! don't you people read?

anyways, I prefered bioshock over AC by far, AC was such a traditional and archaic adventure game at times, but bioshock was a satisfying and deep game.

Thats a tough one.

i love both games

bioshock has a way better story and kept me entertained all the way though

Assin's Creed has some really badass moments, like the first real assassination. its amazing, but the rest of the game gets repetitive

altho both games are amazing, i say bioshock

It would definately have to be Bioshock- great atmosphere, great story, great graphics, great gameplay. Whereas Assassins Creed is quite repetitive and sometimes boring, such as when you have to travel to other cities via horseback. The graphics are pretty sweet though.

I prefered Assassin's Creed over Bioshock.

Both are very good games, but Bioshock didn't suck me in like I thought it would. On the other hand I do really like stealthy games, and AC allows you to play that way, though it doesn't force you to - it's as stealthy as you choose to make it be

Bioshock for sure. Crazy fun gameplay with expansive player abilities, and a haunting enviornment that could only be described as Disney Land on a bad acid trip.

Assasin's Creed was ok, fairly repetetive, with ridiculous deathbed conversations and a plot not fit for the bad REMAKE of The Twilight Zone.

Bioshock is easily my favorite game this generation. And definitely on my all time list. That's personal opinion, but still if you own an Xbox 360, you owe it to yourself to give Bioshock a shot.
