Blue Dragon all the way. I'm not into killing little girls.Staryoshi87
LOL, i would say both, but since you said pick one i will say.....blue dragon, i played the hell out of the demo and had a blast
No such thing as too much freedom.DevilMustCry
Crackdown sometimes gave me that feel.
And i would say Blue Dragon. I am just so on the fence with bioshock b/c it gives this forbodding feeling that i won't like it.
But the result here are probobly a little biased. Most people on this board would say bioshock definatly. So much so that they see this thread as stupid and not worth posting and that Blue Dragon is no competition for Bioshock. So they think one more Bioshock won't make a difference.

hey man you stay the hell away from florida b/c i know this douchbag name Jack sho would love to meet you.
I cant decide and was wondering what your guys opinion was....i feel that bioshock may give the player too much freedom and you may lose interest by geting lost in the world and blue dragon demo was fun but it feels like it may get repetitive.....soquidsnake32too much freedom??? why can't people decide for themselves these days. you know what interest you, so just go for it.
Blue Dragon seemed deep in the combat system, but I didn't like having 5 characters in battle (which I thought was a little much...I felt unstoppable) and the DragonBall Z graphics style is a big turnoff. If those criticisms don't bother you at all go for Blue Dragon.

Then dont, thats the beauty of Bioshock, you have the choice of doing either, along with tons of other choices and decisions. I played the Blue Dragon demo and wasnt too impressed, but to be fair, I am not and have not been a fan of the JRPG since FF VII, although I hope Lost Oddessey will change that, Blue Dragon did not. I see myself getting trapped in an underwater utopia with all manner of strange creature trying to kill me in about a month :P

now look at this.
Silly me for thinking this was a joke topic until i came to the painfull realization that the tc was dead serious. Blue Dragon isn't even the same sport let alone in the same league as Bioshock. Blue dragon is just another me too rpg, the type that i've played for the past decade and a half or longer (though it certainly has nice production values), where as Bioshock is a technical masterpiece with arguably some of the most engrossing environments and atmosphere of this generation and is hard to just classify it with just one label. I won't delve into the thematic differences because each can be enjoyable. With that said, Blue Dragon by no means is a bad game, hell, i'll still buy it; but if i had to choose it won't be Bioshock that gets dropped like retarded infant with bubonic plague. Blue Dragon will NOT rekindle that inspiring feeling of unbridled joy that Chrono Trigger left behind, the game just lacks the soul...seem a tad generic.eNT1TY
man i called that one a mile away.

For me, it will be Blue Dragon. I greatly enjoyed the playable-demo but the full game will be the real deal, it's gonna be a lot more fun. More spells, more treasures, towns, characters, etc. etc...
I will also be playing BioShock (if my brother picks it up that is)Not sure. After playing the Blue Dragon demo, I thought it was fun, but it was REALLY easy and it looks like it will take ages to get those guys and their classes to level 99...I liked Eternal Sonata more.
BioShock looks fun though. I might pick that up.
