i just got madden but i haven't opened it yet (my 360 is broken). i have ncaa football 08, but is madden 08 that good to get also? which to get: bioshock or madden?

As colorado said do you want the same re-hash or a refreshing new experience. Dont get me wrong the new Madden is the best one ever in my opinion but playing it I get the same feeling of deja vu I have had for 15+ years playing the "new" version. So if I was to choose only one it would definately be Bioshock.

Bioshock, dont buy into EAs $60 roster update. Bioshock is a GOTY contender, Madden is the same basic game. Dont give me the oh but 60FPS arguement eitherIt is still the same basic game we've been playing since the 90s

If you only had to pick one, go with Bioshock...but don't pass on Madden 2008 because of what these people here have been telling you. If they actually tried the game instead of just assuming, they'd find out that Madden 2008 is one of the best Madden's ever released. It's much more than just updated rosters.
Oh, Well since you already bought madden, then just get bioshock. Cause the trade in places are goofballs when it comes to trading something in, even if you just walked out the store and come back in with it,...
BIOSHOCK BY FAR. The Demo is amazing and if the game is anything like the demo the BIOSHOCK is a must own. I own last years madden and that will hold me over for another year maybe two.

Madden 08 is a fanstastic update from Madden 07. Except from the fact the achievements took me a day to get, less than that actually. All in-game achievements.
I played both Ncaa and Madden and the Bioshock demo too. Madden left me thoroughly impressed (I'm not quite a Madden hater since I had to get it for my football fix for two years, but NCAA left me discouraged and thinking it was garbage. adden's animation system just makes it so pure feeling. Bioshock.... Wait for Half LIfe 2 the Prange Box instead. Get madden now.
This is the first year I won't be buying Madden, and it happens to be a result of Bioshock's release a week later. NCAA was amazing though and I assume Madden follows suit.
Madden is a great follow up compared to last years. I can't really get into bioshock but after playing the demo a couple more times it seems like a great game. Get both.
