Okay, I'm gonna buy a new game and i've only got two in mind : Oblivion and BioShock. I've heard they're both great games witha lot to offer and they keep getting great reviews from every websitei've been to. So,which game should I get and why?

Oblivion. Reasons why:

1. About 100 hours of gameplay.

2. Bioshock itto easy because you just respawn in the Vita Chambers if you die.

3. Add ons (just buy the new Oblivion for the 360 and you will get the add ons)

Bioshock is a great game, but Oblivion has so much more to offer.

Both games are good, however Oblivion has way more to offer and should be a bit cheaper too ;).

Usually I'd say Bioshock here but if you want value for money get Oblivion: GOTY Edition it has all the extras, but if you want just pure fun and enjoyment and aren't too phased about length or extras go for Bioshock.

Oblivion was good and would be my choice, but I would warn you that it can get very repetitive and boring at times. I didn't like the fact that your character can be master at magic and swords and with the bow and everything else. The quests were great and a lot of add ons helped, but after a while I did lose interest in it.

Uh, Bioshock to easy? Have ya tried playing it on a harder difficulty? If not then bah. It depends on what you want in a game really, Oblivion is a freaking huge game in which tons of gameplay is encouraged and you could be entertained for hours. But, Bioshock is a totally different type of game. It really depends on what you want, a godly rpg or a shooter like no other? All i'm gonna say is I liked both but if your looking for a totally different type of game bioshocks a nice one to get. But, you must understand that you can't just get bored going through it on easy mode, easy mode is just so you'll be acquainted with the game before you play it again for a much more challenging and fun time round. All I am going to say is that you should check out both maybe see some gameplay videos before buying.

well, oblivion is more open-ended and medieval while bioshock is linear and a shooter. they're both great, it's your choice.

Bioshock is an amazing game, but Oblivion just has so much more to offer. It is so much longer and in depth you will get a goos solid 100 hours out of oblivion even more than that if you are the type of person that has to beat everything and see everything which as opposed to bioshock takes like 10-12 hours to beat it once.

If you think both are great (not other people so do some research) then Oblivion, 100%. Oblivion is about 30X longer in play time and people who are choosing Bioshock over Oblivion probably had less fun with Oblivion. So see if Oblivion is your kind fo game, and if it is then your lcuky as you'll be getting lots of hours for a cheap price. But wait for OBlivion GOTY, it has the two expansions includes so you wont need to download them. The smaller add-ons are stil downloadable only.

yeah, it's still easy. pretty much no penalty for dying. bioshock is great, but IMO there is less value i only got bored w/ oblivion after ~120 hours..... bioshock lasted me about 40 hours, and the second play thru was a chore. just dont overload on oblivion, or itll get old fast. you still need to play bioshock though. shortish but very sweet.

It really depends on what you want to do, they are totally different games.

I've put just over 100 hours into Oblivion and can't bring myself to play it anymore, I can't take one more boring freakin gate. This is your pick if your into endless repitition and 'open ended' gameplay, as far as it goes anyway. Fun for awhile and then it's just tedious.

If it's good action and a good story and a FPS that you want, for sure Bioshock. I'm playing it my second time through on hard now and it's fun right to the end. (Although alot shorter than Oblivion, it's worth the price of admission)

I'd say Oblivion.

Bioshock is a great game, but to be honest I doubt I'll ever play it again after I have all the achievements.

Oblivion is also a great game, and I keep going back to it to play the DLC even though I've owned it for about 18 months.

There is simply no game out there that will keep you occupied for as long as Oblivion. Except maybe Halo 3. But still, you can't go wrong with Oblivion.

Oblivion.

Its a very DEEP game. I spent over 120 hours playing that one, its HUGE. Bioshock was fun and its a good story, but I spent around 16 or so hours, beat it and haven't touched it since. Bioshock has little replay value IMO.

Also, Oblivion is just releasing a Game of the Year edition that has ALL the add ons and expansions for free. Perfect time to get that game.

Oblivion. Definitely Oblivion. This game is one of the best RPG's of the last ten years. Bioshock is good, but you'll get more for your money with Oblivion.

Add me to your friends list, or look for me while playing.

I say Oblivion. It stayed on the Gamespot top ten for a million weeks. Bioshock just came out and where is it on the list. Oblivion is probably one of the best games EVER made. I've been gaming since 1981.

Oblivion is the best Rpg Ive played. Great graphics and good gameplay. Yea the gates can get boring, but you can ignore the gates and focus on whatever you want to do.

The answer is always Oblivion. Even If you could get Halo 3 andBioshock or Oblivion.
