Hey, I just beat the game and I'm sure that I maxed all research on every object, but I didn't get the research phd or prolific photographer achievement. So does anyone have a list of every object you can research, so I can see if I missed anything?
You can research all the different kinds of splicers, bouncers, rosies, the little sisters, the security bot, security camera, and the turret.
To get the prolific photographer, take a picture of all of those things I just named at least once, and to get research PhD max out all research on everything I just named.
Ok, thanks, but I researched all those and maxed them out and didn't get the achievement. I have the achievements to prove it. Maybe I just got an achievement glitch or something. Guess, I'll have to do it again on my second run through of the game and hope it works. Dang. Thanks for the help!

Well go and take pictures of the security bot, security camera, and turret and see if the research is maxed out. I thought the acheivement was glitched for me too until I saw that I didn't max out the turret
Yeah, I've had the same problem now...... but I've played through the game 4 times now and I KNOW I've maxed out everything! I have every other achievement but this one and the new one, finish on hard without dying. I know everything I have to take pictures of by now, trust me, and I've maxed them all out the last couple of times, but still no achievement or points. Oh well, guess it's a glitch... but I'm gonna play through again now that's there new content (I know, I'm going to seek help, but this game is just too damn good) so maybe there'll be a patch for this problem. I've seen a lot of other people saying the same thing.
I have the exact same problem. I've gone through and played the game, oh I'd say about 6 times.(mainly because it's just that fun!) The past few times I've been strictly playing to get as many achievements as I can. I got all the way up to 46 out of 50, but one of those is of course, the "research PhD". I'm very sure that I researched every possible splicer/big daddy/little sister/security/etc there is. Although, I have yet to obtain this achievement which does lead me to think there is some form of glitch. Hopefully they do fix this, because I'm starting to get a bit frustrated. But all in all, I love the game, so I'm most likely going to go back and play through once again! :P (my brother got this achievement with no problem...darn him.)
Mkae sure ever thing you ty to take a pic of says subject research complete if you try to take a picture. Althoguh im not sure about this but try researching both gun turrets and rpg turrets
