bioshock - scariest game on earth!

holy moly! this game is so scary i cant even look at my screen without having to be scared. i just know something is gonna pop out and take a slice at me. with the creepy underwater miles and miles away no one can hear you if you scream setting mutated monsters. huge big daddies in large death machines and singing ladies from the 60s with a revolver and a wrench in their carriges this is a really scary effing game!

The demo was pretty creepy in some parts. I can't wait to see how scary the full game will be! I actually thought it was pretty scary to be swimming around in the middle of an ocean at night!

I am trying to avoid all bioshock previews demo's etc

I like to play games and no very little about them - otherwise I know all the good bits before I even start playing

well i guess its just me then cause i get scared real easily, i can barely watch a horror movie

Well, I've done a night dive on a sunken Navycargo ship off of the coast of Norfolk, VA. At the time, the "surge" - undercurrent, was very strong and viz was only about 30 feet so the hammerheads we saw circling the wreck were scarier than the fact that it was just dark. LOL! They kept coming in and out of the reach of our lights, which was about 10 to 20 feet so, a little too close for comfort, but we nailed the mission and returned with all our limbs in tact.

So, to back up your statement...yes it can be a bit scary swimming in the ocean at night but thats when I get my best work done. :-)

i think games are "scary" when they are depicted with the real life events. Then you should be worried because they happen in an every day life that you might not be really aware of.

Bioshock is a sci-fi setting so that alone lets you know that it was meant to be all made up, so to me it's not "scary."

anyways, its not scary it just has a bunch of pop out jumps and what not... and creepy little girls, GAH I HATE CREEPY LITTLE GIRLS!
