Bioshock stealing the hype

lets see Bioshock comes out Tue and Halo 3 comes out Sept 25th which one would get more hype first?

Stole it all? Are you kidding? I bet if you went out on the street and asked twenty people what Bioshock was you'd be lucky to even hear, "is it a game?".

If you asked what Halo was even parents would say, "it's that game with the guns in it".

I assure you, Biosock didn't steal jack from Halo. Only the, "hardcore" gamers are going to play Bioshock.

No, I've my money on Gears 2.

I think BioShock SHOULD recieve the most hype, its a different game that doesnt add on to a game, but creates a new one itself. Halo 3 will be just like Halo 2 but with more add ons. That doesnt mean i wont buy Halo 3, but i think that BioShock is very impresive and has made a great name for itself.soulfood4

No offence, but I think it's getting the hype it deserves. While it is somthing completly new and kinda original, it's deffinatly not somthing everyone will like. It's just not a game everyone will be able to pick up and play and enjoy. Now I'm not saying everyone loves Halo, but it's an easy to pick up play game that most people like. Somthing both the "hardcore" and the "casual" gamer can enjoy.

No... Bioshock doesn't have it's own brand of Mountain Dew:P and it's not all over the interney like Halo 3. It's building up a decent amount of hype. A nice amount for the kind of game it is, but not near as much as Halo 3, even a month away from it's release.

haha owned.... and yes i know its because it comes out in 3 days but once again if u hadnt notice for the last 2 weeks it has been getting the hype... sry for not making that clear. I realize that games will get hype this close to realease... but i game like this... i just didnt expect it to get this much

Yeah. I don't blame you for liking it. I myself would actually buy it if it werent for its.... Just crazzy story and gritty bloody stuff. Im not saying it's bad, It's just not my type of thing. Kinda the same reason I was thrown off at the end of MGS2. It'just goes to far for me.

As soon as Bioshock is out and it's finally being played nonstop by the smart people getting the game, all the Halo fanboys will crawl out of their sad corners and pollute the gamespot/ign/anywhere boards with more Halo 3 hype, so don't worry, it'll come soon enough. Ok? I've been drinking mountain dew for like 19 years and I could care less if MC is on the can,its like saying omg tiger woods is on Wheaties! which brings my next point in sponsorship which im sure MD thinks they can sell more soda by having MC on their can which it brings positive feedback for both MD and Halo.

Also since well Halo is basically funded and is being published by Microsoft im pretty sure they can afford to put MC on anything even prolly if it was released later on im sure MS could afford making a decent Halo commercial for the superbowl (which btw its like 2 million dollars every 30 sec of commercial).

On the hype scale

Wow you just totally leave me in shock onhow stupid you are when you are bashing me for apparently being a Bioshock fanboy which you have no proof of and your the one whos basically drooling over Halo 3's hype like a fly on **** (Halo 3 is a damn good game and series its just not worth it for being geedy for its release when its a little over a month tell its out,if it was like 2 weeks or something I would prolly be more excited for Halo 3 and of course the majority of gamers would have already beaten Bioshock and they look towards the next big thing aka Halo 3).
