Bioshock Survivor Mode Without Vita Chambers

Ok I've already looked on the internet to find this out, but none of the answers I find are quite clear on what I'm looking for.

If I save the game. Then die. Then reload my last save without any deaths. Will I be able to still get the trophy/achievement upon completeing the game?

I do know of the option, but I forgot to put it on and died and reloaded a couple of times. I've already done a few chapters and I would like to know if I have to start again. Thank-you in advance.

You have to restart. Even if you reload a previous save. New game, new save file. TURN OFF Vita-Chambers in the Options. Good luck getting your Brass Balls! It was tough but rewarding

Thank-you very much,that's all I needed to know, especially from someone who's already done it.

The reason I say restart from the beginning is because the achievement can be glitched. I do not know this from personal experience but there is a lot of testimony about corrupted save files EVEN IF YOU DON'T SAVE after being revitalized. Not sure how that would work and it might be herd mentality to just go along with it, but I will say this, I wouldn't experiment on an achievement that makes youcomplete the game onHard without VCs.
