I want to know what do you guys think is the better game? The haunting city of Rapture in Bioshock? Or one of the most anticipated games of all time, Halo 3? I've already given my choice on my blog, and the facts are there. What do you guys think?

Depends on your definition of a better game. If you prefer multiplayer then Halo 3 is better. If you like single player more then Bioshock is better. It's all a matter of taste.

Bioshock has a great story and feel to it (Rapture is incredible to look at and explore IMO) I own it and beat twice (got both endings)

Halo 3 has a decent story, a decent feel to it, and really fun gameplay. I've only rented it and played the campaign as I do not have XBL at this time, but I was rlly fun. I have Halo 1 and the multiplayer is way better than the campaign so I know that the multiplayer in H3 would be way better than the campaign too. Sorry I can of rambled hopefully u get what I mean.

I like Halo 3 better, but rlly neither are close to my favorite 360 game from what I've played. O and my fav 360 game is currently OBLIVION.

thats a tough one But I think I have to go with Halo 3 because 4-player co-op on legendary is some of the most fun I've ever had.

Halo's cool, and it was fun, but it doesn't compare to BioShock.

They are completely different games, but i prefer Halo 3. Ive been a fan of halo and the storyline since Halo:CE came out. Bioshocks gameplay was fun but i just didnt really enjoy the storyline. Alot of people may disagree but i thought the main storyline was really boring, but the individual characters such as Ryan and Cohen were really well done.

I have a question for you: Why does everyone have to compare a game to Halo 3? :P I'm not being mean, just that there is a lot of these. I haven't played Bioshock, so my vote don't count. It looks amazing though.

Bioshock is far better regarding story, graphics and gameplay. But once you have beat it you are done (unless you want the second ending). So if you want something you can keep playing for months halo is better.

Bioshock is much better IMO, even though it doesn't have multiplayer.

Halo 3 for me. Bioshock was a great experience but it won't come close to how long Halo 3 will last for me.

As a full package, Halo 3. It lives alot longer. Bioshock awsome. But it wount last as long as Halo. I played the games 3 times the first 2 weeks. And that gave me all the achivments but 2. And after that I felt its along time until next time.

Halo 3 on the other hand Ive been playing non stop since release. The campaing alot becouse of the co op really helps. Also a couple of times singlplayer. And the fight go's online vs others. Thanks to the forge this will last me along time.

And becouse of this, for me Halo 3 is the best game.

To answer Mr_Doom212's question, it's cuz halo 3 was one of the most anticipated games of all time. Since that, it had very high expectations that i'd say were fulfilled. So since it is one of the hottest selling games of all time (or will soon be) Everyone loves making comparisons to them.

I gotta go with Halo 3. I think Bioshock was a lot of fun, but I'm not gonna go play the entire campaign again. Halo 3 has co-op and multiplayer and all sorts of things to keep me hooked for a while. I also enjoyed the Halo 3 campaign more than Bioshock.

I have played and beat both on hd in 1080i. And bioshock was not that graphically impressive to me at all. Halo 3 blows it out of the water in this and gameplay. I loved bioshock but to me it was a one play through. Halo somehow always has a great story but you still want to pick it up and play it from time to time. I just dont get the people saying bioshock was so good looking it was ok I didnt think it really fully used the unreal engine. It was a fun one time through. I will get way more replay with halo 3 between replaying the single player and playing online.

Bioshock is better than Halo 3's single-player campaign, hands down. Although after the first two Halos, I was surprised at how good the Halo 3 SP campaign is.

I love Bioshock and I'm glad I bought it, but honestly I'm bored with it. I haven't even bothered to find everything for all the achievements yet (though I'm sure I will at some point). I just can't bring myself to spend another 10+ hours zapping/freezing splicers and spanking them, hacking stuff and setting traps for Big Daddies right now. It was fun, but I don't want to go through it all again.

It will be a long time before I get bored with Halo 3, what with multiplayer, Forge, co-op, skulls to find (without cheating) etc. I have to go with Halo 3.

I think they are both good games, but both also a bit over rated. Bioshock is something new and fresh, but single player only. Where as Halo 3 has a great multiplayer but has kind of a "been there done that feel" So perhaps I would rate them both equally.

i own both and have to say halo 3. Bioshock was like reading a novel instead of playing a game and the combat was really repetitive. Halo 3 had a more moving story and more exciting gameplay.

single player: BIOSHOCK

value: HALO3

Always-Honest

I agree completely. I just started playing Halo offline so that's why it's not in my signature. Once I take the Box on-line I'll make Halo one of my few forays into MP gaming--which I've never really gotten into. Maybe I could change my tag to CannonFodder :P Seriously, H3 looks to have nearly endless replay value.

Bioshock is a terriffic single player game and one of the best looking games on the console. That being said, replay value is a big factor for me in deciding what games are better than others, and this one goes to Halo 3.

First off, both are great games. I'd have to give this one to Bioshock. It's so friggin' immersive that it has left a much larger impact on me than halo. It's still close though, the multiplayer is so crazy addictive I've had friends coming over since I've bought it. The nostalgia has kinda worn off from the first halo though.

Bioshock is a much better game imo. The best game released in the last few months for me, however, is Eternal Sonata.
