Has anyone else noticed that ever since bioshock came out lots of 360 owners have been complaining about the ring of death happening to them while in the middle of bioshock?

You mean people on these forums? Cause I haven't seen nearly as many red ring threads the past 2 or 3 weeks...

It is not bioshocks fault, its not any games fault, its the hardware in the 360's fault.

Stop spreading these stupid rumors. SOFTWARE CAN NOT DAMAGE YOUR 360.

They were in poor shape before you turned on the game. Hardware is faulty in 360. Its not exactly news.

The hardware is faulty. The over heating caused from extended play causes a large percentage of red rings of death. When a game like Bioshock comes out and people play it non stop for 20 hours, then your chances of getting a RROD increase. Same thing will happen when Halo 3, COD4, Mass Effect and GTA4 come out. Don't blame the games.

360's break everyday. Everyone with a 360 is playing BioShock. So when they break they blame the game that's in the disc tray.

oh lord, games don't cause your 360 to fail, it's the hardware so this thread is very very misleading. I wish you was a little sister so I can harvest you for making this dumb thread.

The 360 is just poorly designed. The hardware failures have nothing to do with software. Ever taken one apart? I have. The cooling for the CPU and GPU is utterly atrocious. The warm air from the GPU has to be sucked around a corner by two crappy low RPM fans, the heatsinks are poorly sized, and the thermal compound they used is cheap gunk.

Everytime a new game comes out this crap starts getting posted. It doesn't even matter if you play your Xbox 360 all day or for a couple hours a week. There is a hardware problem with the 360, and a good percentage break, at some point it's going to happen and it's ignorant to blame games for it. I was playing Guitar Hero II when mine went out, when I received the replacement I wasn't worried to put it back in the 360. I played Bioshock for 4 or 5 hours a day for almost a week now and my 360 hasn't frozen up or had frame rate issues. So if anyone is worried about an overheating 360 don't buy one until the new chips come out, and hope that fixes the problem.

Yea that was the problem. Bioshock. Not overheating or anything more reasonable. It was the game.

Nonsense. People said the same thing about Dead Rising and Gears of War. None of the three have caused me a single problem. Fact is, people want to blame something or someone when things don't go right for them.
