Bizarre Oblivion Glitch

Wow I haven't been on these forums in so long.... but it's good to be back.

Anywho, the glitch I'm speaking of is just odd. Right, so, I joined the mages guild and I was happily going about getting my recommendations. Until I got to Cheydinhal. You're supposed to get the ring, right? Well after finally getting my alteration high enough to use the Bouyancy spell, I went in, and nada. Perplexed, I looked it up. Apparently Vidkun is supposed to be there, floating at the top of the well. But he isn't, the well is empty.

if I remember correctly, the ring should be in the well. and the guy youre looking for is invisible. maybe Im mixing 2 quests up. dont know lol . but the ring is in the well Im sure about that.

I hope you're wrong with that one fattony, lol, that would be the longest thing in the world. But if he's invisible..how the hell am I supposed to find him? -_- I guess I'll have to keep on looking.

there is a spell to see invisible people and people through walls and such. again I might be wrong about the invisible guy. could be another quest for the mages guild. do you remember people saying something like "I cant find (name of the guy)"? if so you should look for him somewhere in the mages guild house..if not, then Im wrong about the guy.

Um, I think you're thinking of the one quest where when you find the guy, he had another mage were just playing a prank on the leader of that guild, or something like that. I guess I'll just have to keep looking... if I do start over, nah, that's not gonna happen. I'd rather just not be more than an associate than start all over again when my character is at level ten.
