blacksite area 51 demo!

i thought it was pretty cool,cant wait to try the whole game, your thoughts?

I thought the demo was great the game looks, graphically better than Gears of War, the gameplay is different to most FPS I can't pinpoint what it is, It has a great atmosphere. Also when the Alien at the end of the demo lands and it goes into slow mo I was knocked over by a car! Id like to see a Multiplayer demo later and also whats the release date?martin_f

I agree with everything you said except that it is better graphically than Gears. It uses the same engine, but not as skillfully. Nonetheless it still looks great.

I disagree. It definitely doesný look better then Gears. And in what way do you suggest the gameplay is different then most FPS? From what I played, there is nothing special to the game in gameplay. It's just a pure point and click FPS. 

The framerate was a joke at the gas station, they've got plenty of time to fix it.

I was pretty impressed with the demo. Everything looks fantastic in HD, and I really liked the detail on your squadmates. The textures all seem to be high-res, and the atmosphere at the gas station was just fantastic. I felt like I was playing a first- person version of Gears of War, and that is a good thing. My one disappointment from the demo is the weapons: there just aren't enough to experiment with. The assault rifle looks cool, but I was hoping for a little bit more functionality to it, i.e., a grenade launcher, laser-scope or something to that effect. You have this cool, red view-finder, but I couldn't figure out what the purpose of it was, because you can't look through it.

The pistol had a cool animation to it, but I was hoping to get my hands on something different, maybe like some alien technology. The aliens are really cool looking and creative, and I loved the final scene where the alien crashes into the mall and everything goes slo-motion as cars fly right past you (and sometimes into you). The atmosphere is phenomenal.

This one snuck in under the radar and may warrant a purchase come September. I just hope they flesh out the gameplay and weapons as much as they have the graphics and environments. I look forward to being able to drive vehicles, too. They said they are adding that.

I think its September. Thats what it says at the end of the demo. 

I thought it was really really good,i've got this on my list of games to buy this year :)
